Would’ve loved a spoiler tag on this. Purposefully not reading the books so I can just watch the show as is.

Sorry but I’m pretty sure I said “in my opinion” above. I understand likes and dislikes are subjective. I was curious as to why I never see Iron Man 3 in the discussions of worst, because it definitely isn’t one of Marvel’s strongest movies, but I know it has fan backing. But thanks for your perspective!

Story wise, it’s pretty weak. It’s an interesting point of view from Tony Stark to be suffering from PTSD after the Avengers event. But it was just a bit disjointed. Why did we never hear about Pepper’s Extremis powers after the end of Iron Man 3? Like what happens with that?

But I like what someone else said in a previous comment that it’s all about being rewatchable for most people. And for me, I can’t rewatch this movie unlike Dark World where I wouldn’t mind a rewatch. I was more so just curious as to what others had to say about it.

Yeah the beginning is pretty rough at some points. My husband and I just did a big rewatch of all of the movies and while some have weak points, I struggled so hard through Iron Man 3. But I agree that Phase 1 is definitely their weaker line up of movies.
