I adore Interpol. Every live clip I’ve seen of them is bad.
liquidmuse3
You’re making Metallica‘s point for them, they wrote those songs to speak to any age, including our age. For a musician to speechify between songs risks alienating people who have different nuanced perspectives.
liquidmuse3
Occasionally. Michael was the main dude tho
liquidmuse3
People don’t understand how many Tool fans were going to these shows.
liquidmuse3
He’s decried Paxton going after pot, right off the top of my head. He’s gone after the Lt. Governor going after that too.

Companies provide services. That’s how people get rich, people voluntarily give them money for their service.
Infrastructure is paid and maintained by taxes. Didn’t we just do a Biden infrastructure bill?
Mentioning climate change with a straight face. Any day the doom will hit, keep praying!
The fact you think a few souls will control an economy better than everyone invested in it…that worked so well for the Soviets. China & Scandinavia thought so until they went free market again.
The fact you had to end with an insult when you’re defending a system that has failed every time? Incredible.
liquidmuse3
Again: who’s creating revenue and products to be taxed under this system? And why hasn’t this system worked before? Why hasn’t one commune worked?
And 2008 is not illustrative of every entity who loses money in the stock market.

Except that he has
liquidmuse3
how is he a friend of the pod… Last time he was on Rogan and him argued about marijuana for an hour. That was over 10 years ago.
liquidmuse3
And if the Cherokee accrued enough political power to make that happen, it’d probably happen
liquidmuse3
Cool. How does future capital get created to expropriate? And how do central planners have more wisdom than an entire market of traders?
liquidmuse3
Me too in a way. In the Klinghoffer era I finally liked Chad‘s playing: good fills thrown in at perfect times. And I still like the way he locks in with Flea. But I’m kinda underwhelmed with him with the Chilis but I think he plays what he needs to, Flea is so busy.
liquidmuse3
The thing that irked me, (as relayed in Geddy‘s book) after the last show Neil essentially blew off the other two guys while staying in the arena (that was my interpretation anyway)
liquidmuse3
Isn’t the exchange “I made music/you paid for it”? I agree, he took that anti-fan worship thing too far, but…
liquidmuse3
He has to have power and groove in the RHCP, and has to essentially play free jazz 5 times a night when they jam in concert. People who make comments like this make me wonder do they only know the pop songs?
liquidmuse3
So they prefer he doesn’t hold that administration accountable? As illiberal as the Biden administration was in terms of speech and freedoms, Trump was the devil you knew. Dumbass 6 years in got convinced by Israel to do something, what can you do
liquidmuse3
So the question is, did Neil’s brother ride the way he did. And did he have a similar helmet with electronics? After 3 dudes getting the exact type of cancer, when the Vertical Horizon dude relayed the “the bike didn’t get him”, there’s a part of me that thinks it did
liquidmuse3
Right. My point is WHEN they cut in and when they cut back 🤷♂️
liquidmuse3
You saw that too, huh. Why when people are saying “can’t wait to see the full playthroughs!”, there’s a reason they cut away when they did
liquidmuse3
Matt, from the documentary
liquidmuse3
He shouldn’t have sung to begin with, just three piece playthroughs should've been the choice
liquidmuse3
Mostly agree, but he was overplaying on Dreamline a bit. But I’m also surprised they gave him such a simple song.
liquidmuse3
Ged mentioned in an interview her being a woman came into play. Any other dude is just gonna get compared, whereas with her it was a unique phenomenon before any comparisons occurred.
liquidmuse3
It happened the first minute of the first show. If you mean Tom Sawyer, yeah, that would’ve been rough ☺️
Yup. Stunned Paul just doesn’t do the deep voice most of the time, actually trying to be a singer? 😅 And they insist on their little pathetic amps even though they wrote big-sounding music
