I definitely think this has been one of my biggest criticisms with Travis's DMing. He loves his NPCs too much to let them ever be made a fool of or even be influenced much by the PCs. Like, IMO a huge part of the fun of early Balance was that the THB were always mocking almost every character they came across, which Griffin was super good at riffing with. Like, take Angus for example. Was super funny IMO listening to the THB bully him and listen to his reactions. Could you ever imagine Travis introducing a smart, plot-important character, and letting them be bullied like that? He's too precious about his characters.

Do you know how it compares to SpanishDict? That's what I was always taught to use in high school, but none of my teachers were actually fluent so I honestly don't know if it's as good a resource as they made it out to be.
