Would love a sniff of vintage Gold! I just recently sampled it and the incense didn't work for me sadly. It just made me wish I was wearing Dia haha.
Goat dung

I have 1957 and have sampled Gardenia. The latter was nice but it vanished so quickly I never revisited. From memory it was greener and sweeter.
1957 I adore, but it bears little to no resemblance at all to Honour.
I sure wish Chanel decants were easier to come by. My nose quits on me so fast at the stores these days.

The reviews for this are so underwhelming. It sounds like it would be so interesting!

I seriously want to bathe in this when I wear it.
Have you tried Infusion d'Iris Cèdre? Just picked up a sample to compare to my ol' reliable.
lnfinitelris
Pretty much can't be in better hands! Good luck.

I don't get the dirty sexy thing from it either. It's just cozy and pretty!

Seriously I don't even want to try 43 😬
Imitation came in this haul too. I think I do like it, but need a couple wears and it definitely wasn't the instant head over heels experience like Honour. My husband didn't seem to like it at all though. It's unusual. I would love to see if any Amouage loves surface for you.

I instantly did that and sadly for my wallet, I don't have anything in the delicate romantic white floral category
lnfinitelris
I hope I have not steered you wrong!

I honestly can't remember the last time I had an issue with a perfume order, either the house or a decanter.
And I order a lot unfortunately

Honour Woman - Amouage - sampling and have already put a full bottle in my cart help
For me this was one of those scents where you smell it and your face lights up and your eyes widen and a starry shimmery aura surrounds your head and you bat your lashes and let out a heavy delighted satisfied sigh.
The most delicate angelic white floral. I get mostly jasmine and tuberose, a little gardenia. A hint of indoles, a little sweet. The opening has a brief tartness and there are wafts of incense and clean white amber coming through. I really don't get much if any spice (keep in mind I'm only 90 minutes in on my first wear). The edges are like a vignette, fading out to transparency.
I can see why people call it a wedding fragrance, but I want to smell like this all the time. I want this to be the natural scent that seeps out of my pores, I want my sweat to be little droplets of Honour. I want my husband to bury his nose in my hair and breathe in pure Honour.
All that said I don't quite understand why I'm so taken by this. It's honestly not doing anything wildly new or exciting, but it is simply enchanting.

It's just an allergy. You can be allergic to anything. Even hypoallergenic perfumes can cause a reaction.
It has nothing to do with quality (assuming you're not buying like, dupes from China). In fact naturals are more likely to contain allergens then lab created pure aromachemical. You cannot ID a specific ingredient unless you have the complete ingredients list (including the fragrance/parfum portion), and either perform an elimination test or go to an allergist for a skin test.
Just chalk it up to a random allergy and don't spray it on your skin. No big deal really.
Edit please do not use it in your review. Like warnings about headaches, it's annoying to see allergies in reviews because it is a thing with your body that has no bearing on others. You'll just scare away people who have other allergies, even though everyone's allergies are unique.

Fetiche L'Rose is a dark silky cherry rose. Not a cherry girl but it's so damn good.
Fetiche L'Iris is a super unique iris and clean patchouli. Not for everyone, but it is a STUNNER if you're into that! I treasure my bottle.

Louboutin's line is so underrated.

I love this so much, just wish it lasted longer :/ Have you tried the peach flanker?

Citizen Queen by Juliette Has A Gun
A discontinued, offbeat scent from before JHAG blew up and turned into the brand that makes stuff like Miami Shake and Banana Rush.
Citizen Queen is powdery aldehydes and iris, soft leather, and an animalic musk that I'm sure turns off 95% of mass market buyers. The closest comparison I can make is to ELDO's Putain Des Palaces, minus the sweet fruitiness, plus a little more civety goodness. Tbh Citizen Queen fits Putain's sexy-scandalous storytelling better than Putain does, at least for the first couple hours until it settles to a soft iris-leather with a bit of tonka making an appearance. Is it wildly different from other fragrances in this style? No, but it definitely has a point of view, and it's really well done.
You can find bottles at discounters for around $70 for 100mL, imo a great price for what you get.
This and Oil Fiction (edit: the original. Not sure what the new release is like) show that Romano Ricci has a great nose for vintage-style fragrances with a modern twist. I sure wish he'd lean into that more.

They have been around for years at this point and they are commonly used specifically for layering. People pick out crazy 5-layer combos and end up smelling like a mishmash of caramel, marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla woods and vanilla musk.
They're not for me, but imo gourmands are probably the easiest category to layer.
lnfinitelris
They make some really nice fragrances! I should have mentioned This Is Her too. I've had 3 people go out and buy it after smelling it on me.

Memo Marfa. It shares things in common with BB but it's more fresh and airy, not as milky or musky. I wouldn't say it has less of a personality though, it's just a different personality, a bit more chill and easygoing.
Girls Can Say Anything by Zadig & Voltaire is another one to check out. Fresh feminine florals, clean white musk, and delicate sweet vanilla.
lnfinitelris
Yeah, it's not like fragrance is subjective or anything

I took the SJP part personally

The only dvn I've tried is Soie Malaquais and it was ok. Camomile and Neon Garden have been on my radar though.
I'd love to do a sample swap! I need to update my parfumo for you to peruse but I'll dm when I do that, cool?
