Treating animals as if they are fundamentally like people is actually the logical thing to do. We are extremely closely related to bears. If humans can be malicious, the assumption should be that bears can also be malicious, until proven otherwise.

I was speaking only of the religious aspect. This part speaks about adults vs teenagers, which I think isn't really a useful group to ask. Those are higher numbers than I would have guessed, but not wildly. I'd love to see a break down by religion, instead of lumping all Protestants together.
