Partially correct? You pretty much said the same thing just with more specifics.
macewank
Cross your fingers and hope ORD isn't packed and they're selling day passes
macewank
Exactly. Many people on that roster are not in a position to bite the hand that feeds. KO is among the short list of people who can get away with it on occasion.
macewank
That is absolutely not the only difference between them and KO and you know it.....

The water bottle stuff is under "Beverage packages" on the site now and when you check out it seems to work the same as the other beverage packages which require everyone in the state room to have it. Weird?
macewank
So it looks like they changed the way they sell the water bottles and just merged it in with all of their drink packages? That "Package must be purchased for the entire cruise" verbiage is boilerplate for the Free at Sea/Soda stuff. Those packages have to be purchased for both people in the cabin, but it seems not right that you would have to buy 2 things of pre-paid water bottles. Might have to call and talk to someone on that one?

Shuttles from MCO, rental cars, or Uber/Lyft are pretty much the options.
macewank
You give way more of a shit about these semantics than anyone else.
macewank
Yup they did. All things considered after 15 years on IL roads I expected it to be way worse under there but this is definitely several years overdue.
I don't daily drive it anymore but definitely going to keep an eye on it. They told me I'll probably see some flaking as it gets to work and I'll wanna make sure those spots get re-covered

Sugarcane and Maltings.... I've sailed the encore 7 times and I'm not proud of the amount of time I've spent in that little stretch of deck 8. Lol
macewank
The city doesn't own it.
macewank
The weirdest part of this one though is wglt was like "take this actual pic of the mall sign and this pic of the old Macy's and make it ai slop"
macewank
I heard it had 4 wheels
macewank
You may want to provide detail on what skills you have because casting a net this broad isn't going to yield a useful result.
macewank
Reportedly? They literally leaked it the other day. Lol
macewank
Yes, that's how prototyping works.
There is no reason to believe that they can't achieve a similar result with a full-build Tesla. Lars' addressed this in his response. They're generating more than enough thrust to lift an actual vehicle and flip it around. So... yeah, it can be done in production. Will it? Who knows, but the math/science is pretty clear and it absolutely can be done.
Which is why I said, again, that the question is actually whether or not any regulatory body will allow them to do this in production. And to be clear, I mean allow them to put cars with rocket engines on the roads. The answer to that is no and I don't see that changing.
macewank
I mean they can do this in production. That has never been the question.
The question is will any regulatory body let them, and the answer to that is no.
macewank
Neat. It's probably leftover swag from a trade show of some sort, but they didn't have to give anyone anything, so kudos.
macewank
2049 maybe
macewank
that's way way waaaaaay excessive but you do you. couple bucks a bag is the going rate
macewank
There are zero people outside of the terminal that work for the cruise lines, and very few people inside the terminal that work for the cruise lines.
It's all port employees.
macewank
Yep. That's kind of the point. The entire area is gated access and nobody under 21 is allowed to book cabins there.
There are will be at least 1 door on both sides of the hallway, maybe 2 on one side, but they're keyed and if you aren't in a solo cabin (studio or one of the inside/balcony ones categorized as solo) your card will not open the door.
macewank
Nah I'm good but thanks

"So anyway"
That's it. That's the entire obit.
