John F. Kennedy, Wernher von Braun, Gene Kranz, Jim Lovell, Gus Grissom... the cast is incredible !

She did get the medal of freedom in 2016.

As for why she didn't get any IEEE award, the main reason is probably misogyny since the IEEE didn't know that women existed in the 20th century

Most of "traditional" engineering is not rocket science. I've worked in multiple industrial companies with traditional engineer and their jobs has a lot in common with ours.

Hillel Wayne wrote an interesting article about the subject :

I just asked them point blank. “Do you consider software engineering actually engineering?”
Of the 17 crossovers I talked to, 15 said yes.

Si l'nglaise en question est une Lotus ou une Triumph, c'est OK. Mais si ton nglaise n'est pas munie de roues la seule solution pour vous c'est l’exil, de préférence en territoire neutre comme l'Cosse ou l'Rlande

Really ? Indiana Jones has destroyed several archeological sites, stolen countless antic artifacts and believe that "X marks the spot". I'm not sure he's really fit for the job

You can't say that !

I once worked at a 15 employee company where the boss's wife and two brothers were all on the payroll with personal company cars !

If that's not family then I don't know what is family /s

"Super popular" is a bit of an overstatement. As a French developer for more than two decades, I've seen very few windev job posting and I've yet to meet another developer that has written anything in windev.

On the other hand, windev is famous in France for flooding french tech media with sexist ads for its products
