I just purchased a D20 Pro Plus because I only needed the vac capabilities but am having regrets and considering returning it (which would be the first time I've ever returned a used item).

It doesn't have curtain zones, so doesn't clean under them.

It blows air out the back, so every time it backs away from something to get a better lidar view, if blows debris from areas it hasn't cleaned (for example, under the curtains it won't go near) into areas it has cleaned.

It's terrible on carpet, which fortunately is just one room, even on max power. I put my 10+ year old Roomba in the same room to redo it after the D20 had finished the Roomba filled its empty bin.

that’s my question .. i assume from their position during that time it’s easier to use their hand to open it versus waiting until they can turn around and operate it with their foot

.. or if no lid just just wrap it well and toss? 🤷‍♂️

to this day my now adult daughters still flush them despite me begging them not to because anything else is gross and that’s what their mom told them to do

i have a waste bin near the toilet but i’ve wondered about the usefulness if it being foot activated .. i imagine a woman’s feet aren’t in the correct place to operate it when they need to without getting up and turning around first

or does it come out before you sit down?

and yes, after my voltage detector tells me i did indeed turn off the correct breaker, i still run my voltage tester near a live circuit just to be sure it didn’t pick that moment to fail (or the battery to die)

i’ve acquired a 5080 and dropped it into my four year old i7-12700K system with 32MB RAM …

REALLY wishing I splurged for 64 four years ago.

I’ve got it setup and running with help from chatgpt guiding me to the smaller models made for 5080 … and i’m sure some of my issues are due to me still learning things.

it made decent Seinfeld clips with Jerry and George but doesn’t seem to have a clue who other popular characters are from TV shows around the same time (Cheers and ER).

I’ve used reference images with mixed results; one character is usually no problem but two or more seem to mix up their details.

Still having some fun with it and every once in awhile I get a video I’m happy with.
