Well as the article says, there were about 12 of them and they were mostly drowned out by the hundreds of people against them, so not exactly a horde. They were also kept separated from the protest. And no, I’ve been to many protests with the far right there. These aren’t unusual.

It’s so ridiculous. Facebook doesn’t ban you for this. I just recently got suspended by MODS on a Facebook group for saying the word rape, because they said Facebook would ban the group with no evidence of such, but they’re the ones banning and censoring survivors!

Been to a fair few of these myself as a legal observer, many Palestine marches included. Once observed a die-in at a train station while a guy in an Israel shirt got in everyone’s faces and told the police they all needed arresting because from the river to the sea is a death threat against him personally.
My favourite was the counter protest to an anti trans rally was described as hateful and threatening, when neither side ever had contact but the counter protest was singing and chanting bangers while the anti trans side was a straight woman calling lesbians “dick-pandering handmaids” for not being anti trans.

I was up the high street today which I don’t often do and was gobsmacked how many parents I saw swearing with their kids next to them and smoking around them too. Didn’t help there was an anti racism protest and a fair few of them were swearing at the protestors.
