Just a quick follow up,

Someone finally took care of it. Didn’t get a reply from support but today the payment finally came in. Seems like complaining on social media is the way to go if you need to get their attention.

Good luck, I’ve been waiting for my refund since July 😔

Well, there seems to be some disagreement here on how to get things moving with jolla’s support. One of the first posts here suggested I should just follow up to make sure my request wasn’t buried in their inbox and now you suggest that following up on requests clogs up support.

What happened is I filled out the form and sent 2 requests via mail in total. Last message was my bank details after being asked by support. That’s been last month.

Anyway, I really think researching how their internal ticketing system works before sending a request is asking too much of the customer.

After waiting for almost 3 months no, I don’t think the title is misleading.

I’ve been waiting for almost 3 months total since I first requested the refund. Haven’t heard back from them since I’ve sent my bank info last month. I’ve sent almost 20 mails to their support in total and honestly I don’t think sending one more is going to change anything.

Wrong, being a country in Europe is not a prerequisite. The treaties specify that "any european country" can be a member. Many in the commission and in the european parliament agree that Canada is culturally european.

The problem with 4K 120 on the deck is HDMI. The HDMI forum won’t open the HDMI 2.1 standard, so Linux is restricted to 4K 30 on HDMI.

The solution is to use display port or usb-c. If the dock supports one of those, you will be to able to get 4K 120. Just don’t use HDMI.

You can give Tuxedo a try. They’re located in Germany and all their devices come with Linux preinstalled.

Let’s go to the moon 🚀🌝
