I have just been on vacation on Malta and can tell you that they desperately need a solution. The traffic is insane, cars everywhere - no bike lanes in sight. With a country as small as Malta having some good bike lanes together with some rental services (especially in and around Valletta) would make this a much nicer place and probably get rid of half the traffic…
