“Examiner”. I researched companies in my area and went to their career websites.

Hello, I never took the bar after graduating a year ago. I realized I didn’t want to practice. I went to work for an Insurance company handling claims in their financial lines segment. I really like my job, good hours, benefits, and pay. A lot of my coworkers are lawyers.

I went right from law school to working in insurance with complex claim handling. Never took the bar. My degree has been helpful and I enjoy what I do. I work 7am-3:30 M-F and usually close my laptop promptly at 3:30.

I had to take an insurance licensing test. Company will provide you a course and pay for it upon hiring more than likely.

I work in insurance handling complex claims. Honestly, I think a lot of companies like the “legal mindset”, I’d advise showing you can be impartial and sort through the “bs” objectively.

I like the hours that my job gives me, when I go home, I can leave my work there. Could not do that when I worked in the family law area.

mattb0116

Do you find them useful?

mattb0116

Yes

mattb0116

When you say sensors, do you mean the kind in the front that beep when approaching a wall? Or the “car is about pull out in front of you” kind?

I work there! I work in EPLI claims. I started after graduating law school. I had a background working in a law office and lots of retail. I went through three rounds of interviews. I applied in December and got an offer late March. I like it there, there’s definitely a focus on excellent customer service.

I was 24 when my dad died at 68 last year, my mom is 65. I am also an only child. It is harder when it feels like it all falls on your shoulder, but at the same time I think having parents who have more life experience can be a valuable experience. It’s just hard when you’re in a position like me and feel you didn’t have enough time with them.

Defrost and steering wheel yes, the seats will only if the switch is on. If the heated seats are off upon start it won’t.

I work as a claims examiner! I really like my job. The hours are definitely better than practicing and a most of my colleagues are lawyers as well.

Would be nice to have it in April! That would work for everyone

My concern is that it’s a redesigned 27, we like the current gen. I don’t know how much truth there is behind a redesigned 2027 though. Thanks for your help!

mattb0116

If by market you mean region, I’m in southern New England. I’m trying to time this car right and I’m worried due to a redesigned 2027 the 2026 model year will end very soon. Ideally would love to order a car in March and have it April or later.

I just didn’t want to be a bother if I’m not actively going to buy a car just this moment, I don’t really want to “get the ball rolling” just this second. Good point though
