So, corvette design and the tricks to make them look smooth and whatnot can get REALLY complicated. IF you’re interested in going down that rabbit hole, (IF lol), YouTube the phrase “no mans sky offset building”. There are a few simple tricks you can do that will trick the corvette builder into letting you “offset” where the parts click in place. It’s usually as simple as adding a radiator or whatever to the front or rear to offset up or down, and then a rock hopper to a side to add new middle snap points on the side. There are several other tricks using the new vacuum part to turn your hab 90 degrees to the side too.

It gets a little complicated for a new player. But here you go for once you get to the point that you care about stuff like min maxing:

Very basically, you rebuild your corvette several times to get optimal supercharged slots. Then you test the placement of each of your engines to discover which is fastest for you. It’s different for every game save.

Keep in mind, this isn’t “absolutely necessary” to “beat the game”. It just feels good to me to have a fast nimble ship compared to a slow sluggish ship.

All good! Experiment and have fun! Build wacky stuff! Whenever you get to the point (if you get to the point) that you want your corvette to be really fast and nimble shoot me a message. I made a guide for that too.

I’d love to be able to pilot a biblically accurate monstrosity like that first autophage you meet did.

Smart players only share those glyphs with their trusted friends.

Maroons post them here.

Were you able to kill his character when he stepped out?? How does that work?!

For Switch you can simply turn off your WiFi or LAN in your system settings. Then when you’re completely done with the expedition, turn it back on.

I assume it works similarly on Xbox but I have no idea what your menu is like or what options are present. It should work the same though. Turn your internet off until you have completely finished.

More rose of ship storage!!

Apparently you can run the expedition for as long as you like as long as you disconnect your game from the internet. I play on switch 2 and could describe how to do on that system. What system do you play on?

Very rare find. I’ve seen the round cyclops head once or twice. But the horns make it otherworldly.

mattmaintenance

I was unaware of this and will look into that!

If you’re interested in any live battles let me know. There are several discords, subs, and communities for tournaments and general friendly battles.

I’ve always been a fan of the creatures. Since they added pokemon style creature battling this year it’s only gotten better.

I haven’t encountered this, and I do tons of upgrade rolls too at the beginning of saves. But I would appreciate most of the hazard caps being bumped up more.

A significant portion of the stars in the galaxy map are blocked behind finishing the Artemis and Atlas main quests, and a couple shorter quests after that. You don’t HAVE to do those quests immediately. But they’re pretty cool systems.
