While you may not be living openly, are you connected to any people in the queer community? There might be LGBTQ+ organizations that can assist you in all manners of coming out.

Are you planning to begin pursuing the same sex right away and you just want other to know you are bi so when you bring a date of the same sex, there's no extra questions?

If so, I would suggest something along the lines of 'i am bisexual and I'll be dating people of the same sex. While your acceptance will not change this about me I would still welcome it'.

In the end, know your family. If it's not safe for you to live openly then ignore everything except about connecting with queer organizations and communities
