Not click bait. Phase 2 was dependent on revenue. If they werent performing, the rest wouldn't happen.

The whole point of AI is to create another level of obsfucation between decision makers and customers.

The AI is trained to generate a desired outcome for the corporation. Nobody in Congress has the knowledge to properly legislate anything in the technology sector, and this administration is in the AI companies pocket.

When the Silk Road was shut down, I figured bitcoins would be useless. When my computer was outdated, I threw it in the trash. Somewhere in a landfill on the southwest side of Indianapolis is a hard drive with a little over 500 bitcoins.

When I worked for Caesars, they were notorious for not paying bills. They bought the casino I worked for, and the gaming and horse racing commissions required them to pre-pay vendors for services rendered.

They have a license to basically print money, and when the bill comes do they don't even reach for their wallet.

Their CRM is running on an ancient modified AS/400, and the scuttlebutt was they couldn't get a vendor to help with an upgrade/transition because they burned them in the past.

I fractured my sternum in high school, and it's right up there with passing a kidney stone pain. Pain killers don't work, and it hurts like hell to even breathe.

It's a shame the kid probably fucked himself up for life.

We have 3 dogs and 5 cats. Ours looks like that after 3 months.

When I was 18, a buddy and I drove from Northern Indiana to Fairbanks Alaska to visit his uncle. We stopped at every state line/border on the way to get a map.

I vote "Blue,no matter who," but as someone who has worked for both national parties I can tell you for certain that 95% of them are there because they have kissed the ring of the corporate elite.

Jesus is my car insurance, so long as I drop a Benjamin in the collection plate twice a week.

Because the internal candidate has tenure, they're likely going to request a higher wage.

Every casino and large company I've worked for gave new hires higher salaries than those in the same position that had been with the company for years. Reason being that "new hire money" and existing payroll come out of 2 different budgets.

Can't afford a cost of living increase for employees, but we can afford hiring new employees @ 125% of existing employee salaries.

I believe it's the baseball writers association that selects MLB MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year.

Might be the only thing of his I have ever laughed at.

I want an astrophysicist to become a biochemist because they're both scientists.

The only other Brazilian Steakhouse I've been to is Fogo de Chao (Indianapolis), and I thought Flame and Fire was much better.

At least Pete didn't swing at pitches in the other batting box. Bregman, on the other hand...

Edit: I will admit I missed some ABs. I turned it off as soon as Rollison was put in.

That's what I thought as well. Throwing a lefty in game 1 when all but one of their offensive threats bat from the right side doesn't make any sense.

Neither does letting Ryan Rollison pitch in anything but mop-up roles after the all-star break. I'd rather take my chances with Assad, and his Caleb Williams-like ability to escape bad situations.

Indeed, though I (14 years in enterprise IT) haven't recommended an HP anything in the last 8+ years.

My mom's LaserJet 4L from 1993 is still trucking along. She won't let me replace it.

When the likes of Carnegie and Rockefeller decided it was cheaper to buy congressmen and presidents to suit their agendas.

I haven't experienced it since I moved to California, but in Indiana they would buy their tickets and scratch them at the counter, unwilling to move so other customers could check out. Then they would attempt to buy more, and if the cashier let them, you'd have to wait until they finished another round.

Not a millennial (1979), but I'd like to experience the hormonal rage that results from waiting several minutes for the the naked picture of Kathy Ireland to appear on my screen, line-by-line, only to have my sister pick up the phone and kill the connection right before it got to the good parts.

That's when I convinced my dad to get a second phone line.

I get ~1.2 Gbps up and down in the same room as one of my Eero 7 pro access points. It drops to about 900 Mbps in my back yard.

"DOGE" was granted unsupervised access to every government database, and I'm guessing the RNC records as well. Purge is simple...if they're not in the Republican National Party's database, they get purged.

Before the SCOTUS gave Trump immunity, race based voter purges were regularly held up in court, despite damning evidence showing it was targeting minorities.

Our system of checks and balances were created under the assumption that every branch of government would act in good faith.

When our president is making billions selling secrets/access, the SCOTUS is bought and paid for, and nearly all congressmen and women are also bought and paid for, it doesn't seem like that big of a stretch.

So...only post links to the "news" companies run by billionaire white Republicans? Good plan!!!
