Players at our games come to play, so we don't really have a hard end time.
Our games typically start around 4pm on Saturdays and 7pm on weeknights. They run until late, or until the game dies out.
Weeknight games usually finish around midnight or 1am, and depending on whether people have work the next day, sometimes they can keep playing till "late". I work, so if I play during the week, I generally leave around 11pm.
Saturday games usually run until around 3am Sunday morning. By that stage, people have generally had enough, several players have left, and you're probably down to a 4-handed game.
It's pretty much just a matter of playing until the game dies out.

Depends. Usually if you are down (in for more than one stake), you can leave when you want. If you are "up" (above your initial stake) we ask that you give table/host/dealer an hour notice that you want to leave. This gives players at the table a "chance" to win any money back. This also makes it feel like you are no hit and running.
Some players also say right at the start I will ned to leave at X. Then it doesn't matter if you are up or down.

I had no idea on Ryner either, but knew the others were.
I just flipped the question. Which one IS a dog? A - Odie IS a Dog. B - Bluey IS a Dog. D - Rowlf IS a Dog.
That leaves C. Ryder IS NOT a Dog.

We have a client going from Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 on-prem to BC Online.
They have been working with https://www.pa.com.au/
We have mostly been involved with making sure Security Groups and Permissions have been aligned on users, Users are getting correct licences etc. PA have been doing the heavy lifting. Has been running smoothly so far. They are scheduled for full cut over early next year.

I'm a M45 gamer and geek. Tend to keep to myself as well and don't have many friends or family in the area either.
I started player Poker again to get out of the house. Mostly the tournaments. I will admit the prices can get high if you're playing the bigger games but there are games for every price point. I tend to play at Queen B's in Beenleigh. Great group of people. It's not far from the station. You can check out their schedule here - https://www.queenbs.poker/tournaments/weekly

With the turn making a possible straight. I would have checked first and waited for villain to make a move. If they bet way up the bet size against pot etc before calling. Then if I called check the river again for value to see what they do. If they bet the river, way up their bet size etc again. But more than likely fold.
You kept betting into them and never gave them a choice. They just kept following your lead when they knew they had nuts.

Unlucky for Malcolm and getting runner runner 9s to get eliminated.

Was hoping for the fellow Aussie to make final table.

The FLOP. A set is good. But Quads are better.
I have flopped quads twice so far. Aces. AA in my hand AA on the flop. KTs in my hand KKK on the flop. AA I got paid. Everyone got scared of the KKK and my c-bet small scared everyone away LOL

Same, they are incredibly slow and don't sound right. They need to change it back to how it was before.
It's the same on PC. I've turned off all Action Voices

"I’ll probably spend most of it on alcohol, women and gambling. The rest of it I’ll waste."
Seriously, I'd look at investing in some ETFs or Term Deposits. Set aside some for house deposit, especially if you are a first home buyer and can take advantage of the Govt Home Equity Scheme.

Did better than my QQ. Well done!

Thanks for the insight. I'll have to remember this.

I am thinking the same after looking at it. That 15 reraise is quite aggressive and large. Wasn't a huge loss given the odds though. I'll just have to watch for this type of bet in the future so I don't get burned again.
mckinnon81
I guess any of the "premium" hands. AK, AA and the KK. I guess preflop I made the right choice given the odds. Just a shame I ran into KK.
mckinnon81
I am thinking given the stakes, I didn't look at the villain reraise as an indication of high premium cards?
Either way it was a bad run.
