I am a proud American. I love this country. But to quote Michael Douglas playing the president in that movie:

The president and the news cycle are shit. And I hate everything about this administration. And as an American, it’s not only my right, but it is my duty to speak up and question our leaders. To show up at the ballot box and make my voice heard. And I plan to do that.
But there is a lot to be proud of here. Look at the World Cup, look at the diversity of people in the world coming here and getting to see what the real America is like. It’s friendly, it’s outgoing, it’s fucking fun. Those are my people and that’s the America I’m proud of.
