Russiagate chapter 2

Brown people in bombed-out countries all over the world can't remember the last time there wasn't fascists running the US. Perspective matters quite a lot, I suppose.

You’re not wrong friend, things are getting worse. It really bothers me that we are expected by our culture and society to just pretend everything is fine, keep going to work, planning vacations, buying vehicles and other junk, and all the bullshit.

“When all the trees have been cut down, When all the animals have been hunted, When all the waters are polluted, When all the air is unsafe to breathe, Only then will you discover you cannot eat money …”

mgrebenc

You're welcome. We're working on several others at the moment.

mgrebenc

Thanks, dude. More one the way.

mgrebenc

You forgot that we added our own watermarks too. lol

mgrebenc

Cheers!

Fan remake of The Chapel of Saint Brenna set of maps for the Dungeons of Drakkenheim campaign using mostly Forgotten Adventures assets, in Dungeondraft.

If you like it, please visit our brand-new Patreon page. Note: That should read "VTT-ready"

I've just posted some updated maps for the Chapel, if you are interested.

Flamekeeper Brenna was once a humble cleric of the Church who over time became known, more than any other before or since, for her dedication and sacrifice in helping the sick and the poor of Westemar.

Many years after her death, bowing to the will of the common folk, the Church of the Sacred Flame canonized her. In her honour, they built the Chapel of Saint Brenna in the slums of Westemar’s grand capital, a place where she had spent much of her life, never putting herself above the low and the outcast. There they moved her preserved remains, to rest until the day she is called once again to service by the Flame.

Damaged by falling debris and shrouded in the Haze, for 15 years this once-beloved final home of the “The People’s Saint” has sat, abandoned and forgotten, among the ruins of the cursed city of Drakkenheim. Can the rumour be true? Is the holy Scepter, thought lost in the great disaster, to be found somewhere within its hallowed halls?

Also available in 256 ppi. Also availible in VTT versions with separate tiles for doors, trees, roof, mechanisms, and occupants. https://www.patreon.com/posts/chapel-of-saint-81382256

This is amazing.

I see Covid as a collapse issue for a few reasons (most of which have become too controversial to even mention in casual conversation), but the main one it showcases is the meta-issue of political economy.

Wedges have always been useful political and economic tools. However, used to the extent that they have been in the last few decades and amplified by the power of money, we now reap what we have sown. It has become impossible for us to collectively solve existential problems because we are too busy fighting and blaming "the other" side.

This trend is not going to get any better - at least not until some mega-disaster actually hits us hard right in the face (and maybe not even then). The incentives that encourage this existential feedback loop are still there and stronger than ever. In order to break free of the cycle, those incentives must become utterly discredited.

For example, try as you may, you can't eat money. Right now that's not really a pressing problem, but one far-away day in our future, it will be.

mgrebenc

I agree but would say the the time for that was actually more like 6 weeks after. By the time we started locking down, it was already way too late. Certainly lives were saved, but by then it was already everywhere and largely untraceable.

mgrebenc

No, you aren't wrong.

mgrebenc

I understand your struggle. I've been through it, too. Living in constant fear and worry is exhausting. In the long run, it can be deadly. I would not wish that on anybody else, and, well, neither should you. As for any Collapse topic (or really any issue at all) pinning your peace of mind to something or someone outside your direct control is the recipe for a stew called Personal Agony.

I don't say this to be cruel, but only to perhaps help you see clearly. Other people are not causing you to feel miserable. Covid is not the source of your anxiety. You are doing this to yourself.

This virus will be with us for the rest of our lives, and others are absolutely entitled to make their own choices about how they want to live those lives. Learn to accept these things as unchangeable fact, and you will begin to feel better.

Just got a 3 day ban myself. Some on the moderation team don't seem to care about being seen to take sides there.

mgrebenc

I have nothing against the creative team. But yes, fuck Hasbro for sure!

mgrebenc

This was made using mostly FA assets in Dungeondraft. Also used the Epsilon Horror pack for a little bit of scary detailing. Enjoy!

mgrebenc

Fuck Wizards. May 6e and their VTT fail horribly.

mgrebenc

Enjoy!

mgrebenc

But wouldn't that be awesome? :D
