Yeah look, it could be, but if it is, I’d be more inclined to think at that point they’d be spying on Jayce’s lab than Powder, she’s a rando child from Zaun at that point, nothing to surveil YET. I’d like to think of Swain as a person who has a vast network of resources, but still knows how to allocate them efficiently, if you’re spying on the entire world there’s no reason to check out Every Single tiny rumour.

Here’s my two cents based on what I’ve read from you: you don’t just want her to be happy, you’ve tricked and tortured yourself into thinking that’s what you want, but it’s not, you want her to be your girlfriend, be honest with yourself and really figure out what it is you want. If you want a girlfriend, you’re gonna need to actually ask someone out. I recommend not asking out the girl who has a boyfriend, nor expecting someone to ask you out because you saved yourself for them, that doesn’t work very often, it Can but it requires the other party to be interested in you in the first place, which does not seem to be the case here. Cut your losses (which aren’t that much by the way!) and accept what you’ve gained, by your own words, you’ve shared time and talents and secrets with this person (I really don’t count the food as being all that important and neither should you), that sounds like a pretty good friend to me. Drop the idea of a girlfriend, and embrace the possibility of a friend who is a girl.
