Congrats to the new leadership team, and a HUGE thank you to current leadership for all your hard work!

These are beautiful! The light blue glaze is sooo pretty. (Love all of them but that color is singing!)

Something that helps a TON with cold feet is to make sure your feet are clean with every sock change.
Washing with soap and warm water is optimal, but even a wet wipe or damp towel is better than nothing.
Then, dry the feet well (including between toes!), and put on a fresh, clean pair of socks.
Also I concur with washing wool socks with a wool-friendly detergent, and hanging to dry. Smartwool and Darn Tough are great, but I’ve also bought some cheaper ones online that are just as warm.

I got hired from temp to perm just under six months before my wedding and honeymoon. Instead of moving/canceling/taking leave without pay, my boss offered me Flex Time. I was able to put in enough extra hours in those five and a half months to cover my honeymoon. Then I returned, my 6-month probation ended, and I didn’t lose out on salary OR my personal plans.
That boss retired before I left the job for something else, but she was incredible.

There’s a couple of websites to check, and you can set up alerts for your area, or specific keywords.
https://hibid.com/ is for online auctions. This is how I got Addy. She was in an estate sale in California, and I had her shipped to me in Texas. You do have to pay attention to each specific auction though. Not all of them will ship.
https://www.estatesales.net/ is how I find ones in my area. Like today, there are 7 within 30 miles. (Granted, I live in a very populated region.) I’m very picky though, so I look at the listings to see if it’s the type of sale I want to bother with. There’s also a lot of companies that do it, and there are some I avoid on principle. (One in my area is notorious for not pricing half the stuff, and she doesn’t trust her staff to tell you a price, so they spend five minutes tracking her down to tell you $2 for a cast iron cornbread pan. Yes, that is a personal experience. 🙄)
Anyway, hope this helps!

This is awesome 😎

I love your fabric choices! Reminds me of copper and turquoise. Beautiful!

This is so freaking cool. 😎 My first quilt show by extension! Way to go us! (And especially you for putting the blocks together so beautifully!)

Love it! She will feel so much better once healed.

This is incredible work! (I do have to admit the imagery first brought to mind Viserys Targaryen 😬)

This is glorious, now I’m going to be looking at thrift stores for cool shawls. 😎
Seriously, I am LOVING this.

The article says the family had requested fresh towels. It does not say what the sign said. Much of the time when staying in a hotel, the sign will say something like “No housekeeping needed” and tell you to use that if you don’t need the beds made. People probably do that a lot, where they need fresh towels but they don’t need the beds made or the floor vacuumed.
I’m glad Luna was found safe and sound.

For $1.39 each you got a steal! Even if nothing was “valuable”, those are some great pieces of fun. I hope you enjoy them! I’m low-key jealous. (Rings and earrings are my favorite jewelry.)
Also as I’m typing this the bottom ring of column five is a stunner! 🤩

So many popcorn balls in red plastic wrap. 🤦🏻

Same here! These are super cool though

This would be ridiculous but, large shrink wrap bags like people use for gift baskets. Put the turkey in the bag, wrap some masking tape around the stake to protect it. Then use a hairdryer or gentle heat gun and shrink it to the turkey. Then spray paint the bag pink.

Grackles are great, I love them. Here’s an article from Texas Highways and it’s so fun. A lot of people hate them but I think they make life better.

Don’t worry, when the plane lands the dog will be stuck on the wing, and in his mouth will be a brick from that other joke.

Make sure you buy performance fabrics. They will not shed glitter or sequins the way a lot of decorative fabrics will. They’re made for this kind of thing, and will definitely be more expensive, but they will also do the job you want.
Good luck on your project!

Mark should have stayed broke.

I think that is a perfect way to handle it. Take the enthusiasm and learn from it. Follow the “recipe” as it’s provided, hypothesize what will happen, then check for results. Great learning opportunity indeed!

Awesome! I made one a few years ago and it was great, but the hot glue I used ended up breaking down. I still have the cauldron though.

I am uhhh, very new to dungeon crawler Carl, but I’m on book two and knew who I was looking at and I LOVE this and I have two cousins who are both super fans and now I have to learn FPP to make this for them. And one for me. I have a lot of work to do. 😂
I’ve done blueberry and raspberry curds and they were both divine.
