Ha, no offense taken, but the demo's innocent here. Nothing infers anything at playtime, no model or GPU... just a lookup table and some piano samples doing an honest day's work in your browser. The AI is what it's watching, not what's making the noise.
Practical use? No idea yet. The bet is you'd notice a long agent run going sideways the way you notice your car sounding wrong without looking at the dash.

From my perspective, you really can't. Unison is unison at the end of the day which relegates this one to more of a "candidate" signature. If I did chase it, I would investigate if one output consistently lands before the others... collusion tends to have a ringleader.

Thanks for the lol

Worth clarifying since "no AI" could mean two different things here: the music itself isn't AI-generated, the harmony is mined statistics from 406 real jazz solos, a root-transition matrix, not a model producing notes. Separately, yes, I used Claude to help write the code and docs, disclosed on the repo if that's the part you're objecting to. Fair to still pass either way, just didn't want the downvote riding on an assumption that isn't accurate.

Bold review for something you can fact-check in about ninety seconds. What specifically, the harmony, the mapping, the idea itself? Happy to hear the actual critique if there is one.

Yeah, that R2-D2 problem is exactly what killed the first version. Early attempt let telemetry drive chord changes directly, and the form kept moving along with the dynamics, so there was nothing stable to hear the deviation against. Fixing that (form locked per session, telemetry only touches rhythm/density) was honestly the single biggest improvement in the whole project, more than any of the individual mapping choices.
On collusion: right now it's the one signature I haven't actually gotten to fire cleanly in the demo yet, it's specified but the trigger condition is rare in the synthetic swarm. Curious the same way you are whether it'd actually read as "suspicious" on first listen or just as "huh, unison," that's untested. If you get a chance to sit through a longer run and happen to catch it, I'd genuinely want to know what it sounded like to you.
Hadn't seen this. Nice.
Best part is that his future-work list has generative ambient music, harmony driven by system health, mode shifts on errors. That's my whole project sitting in another man's to-do. Either parallel evolution or I owe him a beer.
His runs in the Collector on live telemetry though. Mine's a browser toy on a synthetic swarm.
