thanks for the feedback! the ones that didn't work well are: devv, swapcode, syntha and zzzcode (the triangles were probably there, but blinking too fast to see).

Regarding the versions, I used whatever defaulted about 2 weeks ago.

I saw trolls' posts on social media claiming that this wasn't a Russian rocket, but pieces of a Ukrainian missile that destroyed such rocket. I guess in their mind somehow this reduces Russian responsibility?

They tried to blame the Mariupol railway station attack on Ukrainians, too.

I think it's just an excuse to be aggressive. Ukraine hasn't even joined NATO and russia already pretended they are afraid.

By pretending they're afraid, they're playing the victim, which in their mind legitimizes their aggression. Also, it's probably easier to mobilize their society: "the evil nazi NATO is encircling us in order to kill us all, we have to defend our motherland"

Regarding your question about the reason for threats, I believe this is to pretend to his people that russia is strong. He's hoping that russians will think "we're threatening another country, so our army must be great". Unfortunately many of them do believe it. And those who know he's bluffing remain silent or go to jail.

I don't think russians are hoping that their threats will scare anyone in Finland. But who knows, maybe they're that much out of touch with reality?
