I'm experiencing similar. Thanks for detailing all you're troubleshooting. This weekend I plan to work through your troubleshoot escalation path.

39 yo first timer myself. Glad you shared your experience. I wrote-off flower too for about a year in the beginning. Fear of breaking societal norms and receiving a label most likely. Once I started dry herb vaping flower I never looked back. It's the smoothest experience IMO. It's also the most efficient way of consuming I've discovered.

Thank you. I needed every one of those words

I love you OP. Your story is not mine, but it sounds like it very well could be. Your ability to understand is not in question. You are thinking more clearly now than perhaps you ever have. If your intuition is coming up at odds with any religious teaching, take pause. Such red flags are not isolated issues. They're cumulative instances when you catch glimpses beyond your biases.
Your post reads as though you're either in, or about to be in, a nihilism stage. It's not all chaos and entropy, I can assure you. Your conscious is re-understanding reality. There are physical brain pathways that need to be pruned. Some of those pathways are well-established, as you've used them with heavy repetition. Reestablishing more accurate pathways takes time. Know that you have as much time as you need.
May I suggest you show yourself true love - allow yourself the space to contemplate these concerns totally free from guilt and shame. Realize that you don't need to make any conclusions on anyone's timeline. In fact, as soon as you feel you've reached a conclusive concept of reality, begin analyzing the new conclusion. Making "unshakable" conclusions and conflating our identity with thoughts that arise is how we got to this deeply biased construct in the first place.

The mandate to "spread the Word" is directly connected to expanding tithing coffers.

This may not be the exact flavor of advice you're seeking, but please be aware of the church or its teachings becoming a wedge between you and your fam.

Regardless of why you branch out to other derivatives of Christianity, it is amazing. Connecting with people that we have been implicitly (and sometimes explicitly) instructed to avoid is a liberating/enlightening experience for me. The "One True Church" dogma has been the most damaging aspect in my life. Professional therapy has helped me navigate scrupulosity. I'm still very much working on connecting with people who "sin" differently.

It's so commonly misidentified as an addiction. For very few, yes it can lead to over-indulgence which negatively impacts other areas of life. Once you decide to stop shaming what is normal/necessary human behavior, the result is a greater level of self-control, increased moderation. The zero-tolerance approach is the problem.
If you can suspend your own biases, you can glimpse the possibility that the Church is objectively wrong on this subject.

This church is, and always will be, a conservative patriarchy. One does not simply "struggle with" the patriarchy, or even dismiss it and leave it behind. It doesn't let you do so, by design.

You are asking the most important questions IMO. The same questions I started having a few months ago. If you're searching for "faith based answers", you'll receive plenty of those from this sub as well as your local leaders. If you're looking for objective answers, those are also available. More importantly, your intuition has already led you to ask these questions. Continue to listen to your intuition as you seek unbiased information.

Of course they had to victim shame in their letter, i.e., "...she began having troubles with her teenage son Chad..." It's the MO of "the Church" at large.

Same day, but different vendor - I emailed them about it last week. Today they blame it completely on UPS:
"UPS had a problem that day. We are sending a replacement out."

all the interior’s are pretty classic, no useless fashion onboard
THIS makes sense to my soul. For years I’ve only gravitated towards Drake Anvil and RSI offerings. I was even annoyed Origin was even in this game. The aesthetic focused design never fit the “belter”, utilitarian theme I naturally assumed all spacecraft should have. Being exposed to more luxury crafts from The Expanse series has caused me to reconsider. Now I at least accept the Origin ship owners in the Verse, even though I don’t understand them.

I really appreciate you explaining this. I had a guess it was an English as a second language quark. My spouse has dislexia.
No worries mate - my struggle in reading is nothing compared to your efforts in learning an additional language while overcoming dislexia. Cheers!

I like this positive attitude! OP has a lot to offer. Take it from someone who has consistently sold themself short their entire life. There’s always a substantial group of people looking to pay for services/products like this. They would love to execute such a project, but have a deficit of time to do so.
Honest question, not criticism - why do you capitalize certain words throughout your post? I’ve seen this type style periodically, but don’t understand it. It’s difficult for me to read.

BabySheev has some explaining to do.

You just made me drop everything I was doing IRL, drive home, and hop in the Verse. Bravo, Sir.

My immediate reaction to reading this was that this professor requires public shaming. Something akin to local news showing the community a mug shot of a petty criminal. Such an asinine concept.

That the entire Star Wars saga is just a very dumbed down version of Frank Herbert’s Dune. Lucas was much more than inspired by his sci-if masterpiece - I’d almost go as far as plagiarism.

This is an interestingly consistent response. I’ve been nudging fellow LDS members towards The Chosen since the series’ debut. I think most people have grown so accustomed to a somber, KJV-scripture-quoting portrayal that they are almost offended by any other version making Him even slightly relatable.
morerobe
The Chosen’s portrayal of Him has been my favorite. As one would expect, He’s multifaceted. At times He’s funny, even slightly sarcastic, others show him being serious and emotional, while when it’s appropriate He displays authority and firmly corrects His disciples. This portrayal, guided by a multi-faith production team, has created the most relatable Christ among all the productions to date.
My family began watching The Chosen series fairly early in its production. In sharing the series with other LDS members we experienced a lot of push-back. We were constantly asked, “Is this produced by The Church?” It was interesting to see how LDS members were quick to call something “blasphemy” if it didn’t carry the LDS Church logo on its cover. Even though LDS Church has only recently officially endorsed and promoted The Chosen, they’ve had a huge role in its production since it’s beginning.
Using a VPN worked on one machine with no issue. On my other PC it initiated and went smooth for a few gigs then errored out. By the time I returned to check, the internet had inexplicably disconnected (internet was still pumping to other devices). Seems like I'll need to babysit it throughout the install ಠ_ಠ
In two weeks I move house. I'll try it on a new ISP and router then.
