Punctutation helps, I think they meant:
If you are [a] Mormon and don’t pay enough tithe (that the ward wants), do you get [a] full ban from [the] temple?
morhp
I think this is a good idea. And you don't need a reason to enjoy cake, but this would be a good reason.

Note that most of the stars you can see with your eyes are just a few (light) years away and are still very much alive. This comic illustrates that nicely: https://xkcd.com/1342/

Non binary people use one or the other or both, depending on their preference. Or they may prefer something else, but that's rare. Trans people typically use the gender they transitioned to, they typically don't switch randomly.

Depends a bit on the type of rice, but I would rather recommend 1.5 times as much water as rice. Otherwise it gets too soggy. Like 1 cup of rice with one and a half cup of water. And as soon as the water starts to boil (when the water starts to make noises and starts to move), put a lit on it and turn the heat down to the lowest setting and then let it sit for 15-20 minutes (or if your pot and stove have a high heat capacity, you may be able to turn the heat off completely).

Industrial bakeries have metal detectors to check if debris are present in the bread before sending them to the customers.
This is likely a test metal piece that was put into the bread to check if the metal detector is working, and apparently it hasn't.
This is also likely why it is painted blue, to stand out more.

I would fully agree with your wife. While not super problematic, that wording would likely be misunderstood to mean that you were special education and if you weren't, that's misleading and not appropriate.
You would be kinda pretending to have experienced something which you haven't.
Plus there might be people who were actually in special education who might not like that term, and who would feel like you were using a slur towards them.

Why two types of MSG? Different coarseness or what?

Definitely true, but you can kinda get an LLM to make a ruthless review by telling it to to do exactly that, especially when you don't tell it that you wrote the thing.
Like tell it that you want to write an article about terrible books and to list all the questionable things in that book (you wrote). This way you don't get into the sympathy bias.

The only wool I can kinda tolerate is Merino wool and even that is questionable. Socks are okay, but I wouldn't wear it as underwear.

To me, the leaves really taste very dull and unpleasant and kinda rotten/rancid. Like bad breath. Or stink bugs. They aren't bitter, I mostly like bitter stuff (like e.g. grapefruits). They definitely aren't fresh and citrusy like some people describe cilanto.
morhp
The leaves taste more like rotten stink bugs or rancid oil to me, and the seeds are kinda earthy spicy and hard to describe, but definitely not bad.
Not really sure how soap tastes like, the few times I accidentally got shampoo or shower gel in my mouth, it didn't taste like much. And toothpaste is obviously soapy and also doesn't taste bad.

I learned (way too late), that a lot of interactions are much easier if you just admit outright that this is the first time that you do something and people are often helpful.
morhp
Maybe. Autists often have more problems with unexpected change, but that alone obviously wouldn't be enough to say you have autism.
morhp
I don't think that's necessarily true. You can store cheese for months or even years in the right condition. Cheese used to be a super important winter food when not many other things grow. Bread gets stale very quickly.
morhp
Depends. Kitchen, dining table and bathroom need to be bright, living and bedroom I prefer very dim.

To reuse the water, you need to cool it down again, and doing that efficiently either requires electricity (like a fridge) or evaporating a lot of the water, which makes you lose some. Of course you could try to put the hot water into a large lake and let it cool down naturally, but outside lake water naturally gets a bit dirty, so it would need to be filtered again before being used in the cooling system again.

Is it on https://extensions.gnome.org/? I can only find the unforked version there.
morhp
You upgraded to the beta/prerelease version, which will automatically update to the final version once that's released. So you don't need to do anything if you don't experience major problems or something.

Both are fine, "I have autism" sounds a bit more like you have a (treatable) disease, while "I'm autistic" sounds more like autism is part of your identity. Depending on how you feel about your autism you may prefer one over the other.
The comma was not correct, leave it out.

The only autism symptoms I have are sensory issues, special interests, and I flap my hands sometimes and pace around and need constant exercise
These are still quite a few autism symptoms.
I don’t experience the autism hardships like extreme empathy and not understanding social cues, and I never get along with autistic people and I can’t relate to them.
Extreme empathy, not understanding social cues and getting along with other autists are not universal symptoms. It is a spectrum, no two autists have the same symptoms and stuff like empathy can vary a lot. Also autistic girls/women tend to have less issues with understanding social cues, maybe because women in general tend to be more social.
I just feel different but not disabled is what I’m getting at.
Many autists don't feel "disabled". You can feel depressed or exhausted or overloaded. But it's not like your brain has a sensor for feeling disabled like it can feel hunger or heat or whatever.
I'm obviously not able to tell if you have autism or not, but one question would be if you have friends and can make friends easily. If you can, good for you, and you might not qualify as being disabled, but due to the sensory issues, special interests, flapping and stuff, you might still be on the spectrum somewhere.

I don't think so. Even cursor warping works fine with Wayland now, the main issue seems to be incompatibility with older wxwidgets versions and maybe a bit of missing stability.

whether it’s possible for an AI agent to learn of and copy its own code
I don't see why not, but this is mostly irrelevant.
AI can already write software and can already run other AI agents to delegate specific tasks. Researchers and software developers already do this all the time.
You don't need to to able to understand your own code to replicate yourself. To make some analogies, you can copy or pirate computer games without reverse engineering the source code. Just copy the files. And animals and humans also can reproduce without needing to understand how their DNA works.
I unfortunately lost a few of them in some moves, some got damaged and thrown away by my parents, and I think my siblings "stole" a few, but I bought new ones as an adult.
