It's definitely not linoleum
moto_dweeb
Probably a place that doesn't get that cold. San Francisco

There's a way to frame this with HR without getting an offer rescinded.
"Hey I was up front about expecting a salary more towards the top of the range/is there any flexibility here to negotiate I'm really excited"
moto_dweeb
Just curious, so what? Salary is not confidential
moto_dweeb
I get that! It's a different challenge.
I love factorio just making it bigger and bigger.
In satisfactory everything is a new factory
moto_dweeb
The biggest difference is that factorio doesn't have as bad of a problem with the ever escalating widget complexity
moto_dweeb
Don't worry about it
moto_dweeb
None of that has anything to do with op's post but whatever
moto_dweeb
Sorry I'm just a bot I guess how do I do that
moto_dweeb
Are you just going to say bot to everything I say
moto_dweeb
Sure. He filtered himself they filtered him. It's not a bad thing, just saying that SpaceX is a different beast
moto_dweeb
Well you filtered yourself out quickly. Being quick on your feet is incredibly important at spacex and all newspace companies. You don't get to rely on precedent. Experience means nothing if you have the same one year five times.
moto_dweeb
Do you have any examples of clones
Edit: wow. That's bad
moto_dweeb
The nice thing is since they all build on things, it makes end review easier
moto_dweeb
I imagine they're the same as the pads on the deck. And if they are, then they're actually really really good. Super sensitive and responsive
moto_dweeb
Can we argue? To my eyes he's clearly in his lane
moto_dweeb
Yes
moto_dweeb
I don't think they two are strongly aligned as you would think. I would say pick one or the other
moto_dweeb
Why was the boss not happy??
moto_dweeb
The hourly rates also don't add up to the yearly numbers
moto_dweeb
Fuel prices everywhere have always been more expensive that here in the US, and somehow people in the US are completely oblivious to that
moto_dweeb
People.in the us are really oblivious to the rest of the world paying 50% more for gas for like, ever
moto_dweeb
Not rude, I get your point and agree that if someone was taking and intro course they'd fail. I just am making the point that that isn't really relevant. But that's not my point. My point is there's no value in understanding how different languages handle types or whether is XY or YX or whatever.
moto_dweeb
I think the value of knowing programming today is 1% what it was even 12 months ago.
You don't need to know how to code if you can Claude it up
Sorry do you need training to know to stay on the road?
This is a you issue, not a training issue.
