It's not even worth endangering the thief's life.

I agree with the comments in the other thread. Don't bring your pet into the grocery store!

Maybe the people working for the city actually know what they are doing and are saving our tax money by doing the job right the first time?
"Step 3: Pull Weeds and Vegetation Weeds growing through cracks are a sign of existing damage, and they will prevent sealcoat from adhering in those areas. Pull all vegetation by hand or with a flat-head screwdriver, getting as much root material as possible.
For persistent weeds, apply a non-selective herbicide 5-7 days before sealcoating, or pour boiling water directly on the root zone. The goal is dead roots that will not push back through the sealcoat."

Looks like a bunch of actual scientists. I don't see any CEOs on that list.

Please ignore most of the advice you are getting. Reddit users, and especially this sub, are mostly from North America, Europe and a few Australians. These people don't understand your culture or circumstances at all, and are probably giving terrible advice. Maybe there is an older local friend or relative you trust who can give reasonable advice?

What's that climbing the tree? Something black and white but looks too big to be a skunk? Maybe a badger?
msebast2
It's self-changing. (OK, I have to add, but I never need to drain.)

If you clean it it might work for a while and then start failing again. If you want to keep your customer happy ignore the advice about cleaning and replace the key - $30 on Amazon.

A battery's energy is stored chemically and releasing the energy involves a chemical reaction that moves electrons through the battery. A capacitor's energy is stored as a build up of static electricity. Electrons should not move through the insulator between the plates of a capacitor.

So feel free to explain your thinking...

How well does self driving deal with vague hand signals from idiots?

Here's some pictures that help give some perspective on how ridiculous an f450 is:
https://www.reddit.com/r/superduty/comments/1mxk0o9/the_f450_is_surprisingly_easy_to_parallel_park/
Of course that is with American sized parking spots.
Here's some videos of a shorter 2 door version being driven in London traffic with the grace and precision you would expect: https://www.tiktok.com/discover/london-police-f450

I'm not a mechanic but I have used a garden hose before. That 90 degree bend seems way more important than the stupid clamps situation. The hoses hanging so low they can get caught on a parking stop might also be an issue?

Ironic since one the main justifications for DOGE's actions was many, many accusations of fraud. As far as I know none of those accusations lead to anyone being prosecuted.

Never use a phrase from a book. Books are all on the internet. All the sentences from all the books, and especially interesting sentences some people like, are already in the password databases.
Use diceware to generate a passphrase 6-7 words long.
Also, don't use a sentence you made up. Humans are terrible at being random. You'll make up something grammatically correct and meaningful. Which greatly reduces the entropy.

What is the brown stuff? From the pictures it looks like a man made object, possibly carved from stone, that was painted brown and then most of the paint flaked off. Maybe it was once fitted with a shaft in that hole?

Hawaii looks a little strange too... oh wait the Big Island (Island of Hawaii) is missing.

Never heard of something like that before. Really cool for 1 or 2 people. Just run it every night instead of once a week. The price though.

Must be a grift of some sort. There's no way a small water district in southern CA can make use of this water. It's an absurd and ridiculous suggestion. There's mountain ranges and the SF bay between this water and the California water project. If it WAS reasonable there would be many proposals by hundreds of closer water districts. https://maps.app.goo.gl/GGcrsCyJDc2xmmjL6

I don't believe a US law applies to the Moroccan electronics engineer who designed this.

Thank you for the link! What an insane story. National scandal and huge lawsuits over something so trivial that she was completely wrong about.
It was alleged that, under Cho's orders, the chief was forced to kneel down before her and beg for forgiveness. Cho repeatedly struck Park's knuckles with the edge of a digital tablet, and summarily dismissed him.

Now I know a Twisted Tea is a canned beverage. And you can see it rolling away and then abandoned in the middle of the intersection.

Is it legal to take artifacts from a state park?
The nps.gov links at that site did not work for me but some of the documents seem to be available on a New Jersey web site: https://dep.nj.gov/hpo/news/posts/2024/09/30/best-practices-review-issue-9-finish/
