The idea of a promoter providing equipment is bizarre. Equipment is allowed or disallowed in the rules, and then it is up to athletes to compete within those rules. Should a promoter also provide straps and shoes and belts? Should giants live provide deadlift suits?

Remember that the clean is a clean and n.ot a row. There shouldn't be much risk to the bicep of you are actually cleaning using leg power. Also, continental cleans are not mandatory. They're just allowed. If you can do a normal oly style clean or power clean or doh continental, go ahead

I saw the kids by the sound booth "crowd surfing" with their parents holding them and they all had earplugs and I see nothing wrong with how the parents did it. Kids seemed to be having a blast and parents made sure they were safe
