You know what, I respect that. I genuinely do agree with your sentiment. It's genuinely a good sentiment and I FULLY understand the frustration. I'm just trying to help as much as I can. I've had plenty of people use AI to help convey messages, BUT as it continues to proliferate people become attuned to the styling and prose. If they don't discredit you outright, they'll subconsciously do it.

Don't let your voice be silenced just because you might be as ADHD as I am, or even more so. Ramble if you need to. Go full scatterbrain. Just try to use your voice to convey the message. I see it's there and it's clear you are a fan of the game and trying to help.

Thanks for the response and I hope to see ya out there popping some fools in northern reach soon.

The ONLY reason I'm fucking grinding the dumbass hideout is so that I can play the fucking STORY MISSIONS that are locked behind it. I'm fiending for the lore and story direction because it's my fucking jam.

The hideout is literally worthless other than locking the story behind it.

narf007

Alright so I'm now convinced everything you're posting is Claude-based responses. Is there any actual human response from you?

I'm having a hard time disagreeing with your sentiment, the problem is that it's all CLEARLY AI/LLM generated. Including the comment I'm replying to.

narf007

You also used a humanizer skill.md to try and act as a linter on the writing. The entire writing is written with AI too. It's got all of the hall mark aphorisms and kicker-closers just with nuance to try and bury the AI/LLM signals.

I'm saying this not as an attack, but as a heads up. When you call out using AI for things (like all the analytics and charts) you need to call out that it crafted your writing too. It may capture the essence of what you're trying to communicate, but it does a disservice when it reads as inauthentic. Which it does, because it was written by AI as well.

Edit to add: Claude really tried to write this and hide it. You need a better humanize skill or linter, if you tried one at all. It's very clearly Claude. All Claude. Once again that doesn't change that I may agree with the sentiment, it's just that it feels extremely disingenuous because it's so clearly not written by a person--you.

narf007

They're the head mod in this sham sub lol they're just gonna block/ban us and censor out any dissent.

narf007

Lmao this clown that posted this AI slop and misinformation is the lead mod of this sub. You're not gonna get anything to happen. You're trying to help a no-life chud. Report to reddit admins (who will do nothing), block, and move on.

/u/halibot and /u/the_nin_collector you're both correct in certain areas but seem to be treating it as one argument. /u/aldencoolin dropped citations (/u/halibot if you post the source you mention when you're home, I'd be interested in reading it).

The PCr description is correct, but "dissipates within the 1st 2 minutes" is "technically correct," but it is hedging. The phosphagen system dominates for roughly the first 5-10 seconds of maximal effort, with 50-80% PCr depletion inside 10 seconds and near total depletion in all fiber types by 25 seconds (Karatzaferi 2001). The two minutes is already back into the glycolytic process, which could be handwaved by the "within" in your comment, but for a science sub you shouldn't be hedging claims with semantics (not saying that was your intent, it's just how it reads).

The TBI point is over two small open label pilot trials from the same group, n=39, 0.4 g/kg/day for six months, reporting shorter post-traumatic amnesia, intubation, and ICU stay (J Trauma 2006, Acta Paediatr 2008). This unblinded pilot data in 39 kids is suggestive.

On the point of "It doesn't build or bulk muscle" we can look at Delpino 2022, 35 RCTs and 1,192 participants, found about +1.10 kg lean body mass with creatine plus resistance training and +0.03 kg without training. A 2024 JSCR meta of 12 RCTs got +1.14 kg (95% CI 0.69-1.59). Burke 2023 went after the water confound directly by restricting to the 10 trials using MRI, CT, or ultrasound instead of DXA, and still found +0.10-0.16 cm muscle thickness, which the authors call "trivial to small." I'm not going to comment much on the authors' choice of wording there, though I'd call the growth significant/remarkable (read: noteworthy).

The ISSN position stand calls creatine monohydrate the most effective ergogenic supplement available for increasing high-intensity exercise capacity and lean body mass during training. Just adding this in as a supplement (lol).

"Did not increase their lifting numbers significantly" is a generalized claim and is incorrect. Kazeminasab 2025, 69 RCTs and 1,937 participants: bench/chest press +1.43 kg, squat +5.64 kg, vertical jump +1.48 cm, Wingate peak power +47.8 W, all significant/remarkable.

Did you post the study you mentioned earlier? If so perhaps when you do there can be a re-evaluation. Until then your argument only really works as "small." It doesn't work as "not significant."

Water does not equal muscle building is a fair and valid point to make. DXA reads intracellular water as lean tissue and creatine increases total body water, which is exactly why Burke et al. bothered with the imaging only analysis.

On the flipside of this PCr resynthesis during restis correct. "100% does help with growth," is correct-ish. Cell hydration and training adaptation are proposed mechanisms, not demonstrated causal pathways, and cell swelling as an anabolic signal is still hypothetical. The CNS line is unsupported. Nothing I can recall, nor find presently connects creatine's brain effects to hypertrophy. Was your intention more in the same vein as neuromuscular adaptation improving muscle efficiency? That is still using the muscle already present, just, well, more efficiently though it is still not related to hypertrophy. If my assumption on your intended meaning is wrong lmk but it's important to clarify.

The citation for the MDPI paper, cited by aldencoolin above, is Nutrients 2025, 17(17), 2748, published 25 Aug 2025, not 2021. You skipped the nulls here, which show many areas as non-signifcant. The nulls show no significant effect on handgrip (p=0.10) or leg press (p=0.11). Null for bench, leg press, and squat in older adults as well as nothing in females for leg press, squat, vertical jump, or wingate power, and a trivial +0.15kg on bench (for those curious a wingate test is a 30s all out sprint on a cycle ergo against a fixed resistance. It is resistance dependent and bike dependent so results are not comparable across labs). The authors also explicitly state to interpret the asymmetry of this study with caution. The paper is about strength, not hypertrophy, so it does not speak to the growth argument. It does, however, speak to the "didn't increase lifting numbers" claim with +1.43kg bench and +5.64kg squat that were both significant, with the squat clean on the Egger's at p=0.92.

TL;DR for those just curious about the very high level conversation: Creatine saturates muscle PCr, buffers ATP for 5-10 seconds of maximal work, resynthesizes aerobically between sets. It is not anabolic. It raises training capacity. And paired with resistance training it's worth roughly 1.1 kg more lean body mass plus a small but measurable increase in directly imaged muscle thickness. Part of that lean mass number is water (addressed above in the DXA vs imaging only analysis Burke et al.). The strength and power effects are statistically real and small in absolute terms. They're most consistent in younger males, and inconsistent, or null, in women and older adults across several outcomes.

Sources provided inline, high level interpretation by me though I tried to address everything y'all brought up directly and in order, my credentials: MS in Biochemistry and Cardiopulmonary Rehab DPT

e/ for formatting and trying to get citations to sit properly inline.

There really isn't. You're a shill, or just self-censoring, which is equally appalling. It's a fucking name. As the other person pointed out, you have given different reasons so you do need to get your shit straight.

narf007

You can say FUCKING BACKUP

Stop self-censoring you dumb fucking clown.

narf007

UV ammo is for vampires (source Blade and Underworld).

Zombies aren't really an issue. Stock up for two to three weeks, stay inside, it'll burn itself out. More quickly in warmer climates as the decomp will render any animated zombies immobile by then--assuming they haven't been consumed by insects, vultures, rodents, etc.

narf007

It's a bot.

narf007

Be gone AI slop bot.

narf007

As there shouldn't be. Words evolve and retard hasn't been targeted at disabled people for over a decade. It's just another synonym now for morons and idiots.

The South Park biker episode does a really great job of illustrating the evolution for "fag" too.

narf007

You're clearly deluded lol I pointed out your own quote supported my statement. Get back to the basement. The only bad faith is pushing incorrect information which you are now doing. Framing yourself with your message doesn't negate any of it.

Also try not feeding the clanker to get a response. Yours reads like you've paraphrased it and the structure is all there.

narf007

You're clearly deluded.

narf007

Nah you deserve all the shade. It's your fault. Don't play with fire if you don't want to get burned. Goofball.

narf007

Why the fuck is kill censored? The hell is wrong with you people?

narf007

This sounds like the first non-ai slop/engagement bait story I've seen in like ever since this sub began.

Sorry for your loss.

Tbf Canada has less people than the state of California. Plus there are few countries with the insane level of sporting infrastructure that the US has already built in. It makes sense there wouldn't be as many games there.

Mexico is like a 130 million people, so that one I'm a little more intrigued by lack of games. At one point you could maybe argue cartel shit but the US has ICE and maga fuckwits so it's kinda pot-kettle.

I'd say a lot of the built-in infrastructure is doing the heavy lifting--plus Trump and Infantino probably frequent the same nonce haunts. Fucking cunts.

narf007

Bring back the fiery habanero Doritos you fucking cowards

narf007

Fuck those cunts.

May is still the boat anchor but they def are dragging Kentaro down as the new top dummy all wishy washy and woe is me. May and the girl with Kentaro are equally insufferable.
