Do you have onboard video? Remove the graphics card and plug your monitor into the motherboard if you have onboard graphics. Doing so while the power is unplugged.

Rip out the whole thing so it's a normal wall and then hang the TV.

Your files are most likely in a different profile folder. Go to c:\users and open each profile folder that is there. You may be using a temporary profile, which can happen when there are issues with the account.

I don't see restart as one of the things you tried. Shutdown and turn on would be better.

You just boot into the bios. Starting from a full shutdown and press the power button. Nothing comes on the screen telling you what buttons to press, so I usually press delete, F1, and F2 alternatingly. Once in the BIOS look for configuration and sata controller mode. There are three options. I just tried them all until one worked since I didn't know what it was set to before. Raid is an odd choice with just one disk. So you may not have that problem.

I had a user's computer do the same thing. He waited 3 hours before telling me. The only thing to do is shut it down. Windows wouldn't boot after that. I had to configure the serial ata controller to raid in the BIOS. And then windows booted just fine after that. Our computers are also Lenovo. Happened last week. Probably an issue with the firmware.

Resetting windows is always the best option. Probably faster too. You should have the option to keep personal files.
