Les recuerdo a todos los participantes del sub que el sub tiene el contenido que el sub quiere tener. Tengo claro que la mayor parte de reddit tiene moderación que baja línea editorial. Cuando solicité el control del sub abandonado, decidí que no iba a editorializar, que iba a dejar que el contenido evolucionara orgánicamente.

Hace un tiempo empezaron a llover las denuncias y quejas contra posts de menores buscando encuentros sexuales con adultos. Me quedó claro que el rechazo era unánime, por lo cual las únicas alternativas planteadas fueron armar un task force de moderación 24/7 para eliminar esos posts o hacer el sub restringido a mayores de 18 años. La primera alternativa va en contra de mi decisión de no editorializar; sólo me quedó el segundo recurso.

Ahora que sólo pueden postear los usuarios suscritos al sub, los posts buscando encuentros se hacen más numerosos y prominentes. Esto es lógico, normal y lo esperable en reddit: todo el mundo busca encuentros acá.

Como moderador, no puedo suplir ni mejorar sus propias decisiones como usuarios. Configuren sus clientes para esconder fotos y las historias bajivotadas, bajivoten y sigan de largo. O armen su propio sub, publicítenlo y modérenlo a su gusto.
