I think some people never improve at putting. They just do the same things over and over. Sometimes they get lucky for a long 1 putt. Mostly they 2 or 3 or 4 putt and are upset but never try to understand how they could improve. All other strokes you can tell when you have a good hit or a bad hit but putting it’s rare you mis-hit the ball. Reading greens, developing a good feel for strength, imagining the path of the ball, etc.
