Are you positioned to benefit from for THE ENEMY trade? (i.redd.it) [Meme]

Yes. Covert interest to GBP, add it to all interest you get in the UK and then the amount exceeding your annual interest allowance is taxable. I believe HMRC expects you to declare all foreign income even if no tax is due.

Same, I thought foregone conclusion so did not watch. And now BWF YouTube does not have the match either :(

WTF does this mean? Do they expect Indian users to download their "certificates" and create exemptions in the client s/w for them??
What about users located abroad but needing to get info from govt websites (e.g. for visa)?

No way will the Federation spend money on a psychotherapist though ...

nah he had to resort to fraud because there was no superintelligence singularity in his time

There is even a YouTube video

My take is that Indian team needs to hire a psychiatrist urgently: they have so many talented players, especially women, but they never seem to win tournaments (unless opponent has a crisis of confidence also), mainly because they don't believe they deserve to win. Saw this clearly with Jolly/Pullella - they get nervous when they are doing well and finish line is in sight.
Idk how Indian sports prioritises mental aspect, when players are constantly scrambling to show they are talented enough to be in top tier. I'm badminton India is lucky enough that this is not in doubt. But when you are almost as good as the best, then mental attitude becomes the decider.

I did this last year. 5 MEUD+ 3 LGAG+ 2 SEMA
Then I realised a SEMA and LGAG are basically AI component suppliers, and MEUD dived whenever fuckwits threatened, so switched
5 LDEG+ 3 LDAG+ 2 LDME
I make this comment with the disclaimer that I am fully aware that timing the market is impossible and market always knows better and what I did is completely stupid.
Please understand that I am only answering OP's question

So many tests though. And all of them passed!

I was in a similar situation, didn't realise I needed to pay tax on untaxed foreign interest income.
Luckily I found out that I needed to pay back taxes before HMRC did. Did a voluntary disclosure, calculating the extra tax due over last 6 years, most years it was nothing because I had not used up the entire interest income allowance for the year, and made them an offer to settle. They accepted, paid it and that was that. The process is quite straightforward, mostly done online. They will ask you to amend the tax return for the last year, and rest will have to be disclosed. You work out what you owe (like a tax return).
It is a bit complicated but nothing you can't do yourself... with chatgpt maybe. Key thing is that the tax due on interest in the UK is subject to the allowance, and tax on the amount above that is reduced by the tax paid in foreign country (assuming there is a double taxation treaty)

'cmon. Testosterone was just there for the alliteration.
I'm guessing this candidate has poor attention to detail. Don't vote for her.

What a headline! 🤬🤦🏾♂️

Very cool. If one was comfortable entrusting one's money to Robinhood (I've always associated them with diamond hands to the moon type of 'investments', but afaik ISAs providers have to meet stringent safeguards), and if they offer, e.g. Royal London STMM fund on their platform, then it is a safe way to get 9-10% per annum return.
Though someone below points out they will give the cashback in USD at the end of the year, which seems sketchy (and complicated - and pointless).
ohell
So basically 50 quid incentive to fund the account. Guess worth doing, and park the £1000 in a money market fund for a year if they do not offer ETFs

I too am sure Mueller Midterms will do the job that the entire nation and their representatives could not do over the last 10 years.
Just like they figured out how to shut up some zealots in order to prevent innocent kids getting shot at school ...

If you're a non-US citizen who believes getting a 5+% per annum return guaranteed by the US government is a a great deal, it's bad.
cos you forgot it is dollar denominated debt, and also US govt is headed by malevolent moron who loves saying "Foreigners have been ripping us off. so we will steal their money"

I got caught out by this once, annoying as fuck. Streatham to Heathrow is via Victoria then tube with same platform change at Hammersmith, or via Farringdon then lizzie.
Didn't realise that the latter is 4 times as expensive with 20 minutes time saving ... IMO TfL should signpost this clearly that riding Lizzie to Heathrow is special fare, even though the travel is within London zones.

I sold mine after Madame Truss gave them a big lift.
Today I don't need a reason to own them, seeing as one can just buy index linked gilts on iWeb or H&L etc so easily.
I like T30I - 4.125% coupon makes it unattractive to bigger investors whereas I hold within ISA. It is the safe part of my portfolio, in case wars etc accelerate inflation.
with ticket costing 5 times the regular fares to stations either side of the airport
