My daughter was born with a full head of dark brown hair which she gradually lost so that around 4-5 months she was almost completely bald and the hair that grew back in is blonde. I imagine that it'll get darker again as she gets older as my husband and i were both blond kids who got darker.

You can use this checker to see what you are eligible for: https://www.gov.uk/childcare-calculator
Though my understanding is that you are correct about the 15 hours, but I've only personally had the free childcare for working parents so I can't speak to the process for those. You can always ask the childcare provider though, ours were very helpful!

OP NTA but your reaction to this is unusual. When a baby is wearing a nappy and clothes, those clothes are clean. The nappy is designed to keep everything unclean inside. If that did fail, the parents would notice and change the outfit. Since this did not happen, all that touched the table was clean clothing. It's no different from someone's arm having been on the table.

It might be helpful to know what country you are in as this will vary.
I can tell you that in the UK I had a total of 2 scans during pregnancy and neither was internal. During the birth I had maybe 4 cervical checks, but then I also had an ob sticking her hand inside me to attempt to rotate the baby manually. Childbirth was never exactly going to be a non invasive process.

It is not necessary for you to figure out why you feel the things you do. Your role in this is to observe your feelings and act on what you think would improve things. If you think transition would improve things: try it.
That doesn't mean necessarily jumping straight to medical transition, if you have a safe space (ideally irl but online works to) where you can try out different ways of presenting yourself, different name and pronouns, that's a great thing to try. Observe your feelings. Don't necessarily expect everything to just feel right straight away, but if it doesn't feel wrong, try the next thing, and the next. If you manage to transition and don't regret it, it will have been the right thing to do.

If you don't need dysphoria to be trans or medical intervention to cure it, then why does anyone need it at all?
The fact that some trans people don't need medical intervention doesn't mean that others don't

I was off for much longer (9 months) but by 4 months I would have relished going back to work had it been an option. I plan to do pretty much what you're describing next time.

If gender doesn't exist then what exactly do you think should be abolished?
ohfudgeit
Wouldn't it be accurate to describe your knowledge that you don't feel a gender as a personal sense of your own gender?
ohfudgeit
There are a few things that I could respond to in this, but let me start with this, because it seems important to understand in order to be able to communicate effectively:
When I personally talk about "gender identity", I am talking about a person's feelings about how they interact with the social construct of gender. In this comment you have described your feelings about how you interact with gender, so when you say that you don't have a gender identity, what do you actually mean by "gender identity"?

Can you elaborate on this? What are the similarities that you see?

I stopped 3 months before and my hormones were in the normal female range when I had them checked after 3 months
ETA: What form of T you are on will impact how long it takes to leave your system. If you are applying gel every day it will be gone much quicker than if you have an injection every 4 months

If you’re using a deed poll or statutory declaration You must also send one document showing your new name.

I write code. I occasionally get unit tests written for me or get a head start on a bigger task but even then I'm going in and editing extensively.

Unfortunately the DVLA have recently fucked this by now requiring proof of use of name (such as a bank statement 🙄) alongside a deed poll in order to change the name on your driving licence

Can you give some examples of what you think are feminist positions that use the phrase "all men"?
The only thing I can think of would be something like "all men experience privilege under patriarchy"

At an old job we had unlimited access to make changes directly to production, and as a "compromise" I set up a system where in order to make changes to prod you would have to request access and give a reason, and the fact that you had done so and reason you had given would be emailed to the team (it was a small team of like 5 people). It didn't even have to be approved, you just had to go through a 1 step process that would give the team visibility on what you were doing, and the amount of bitching and moaning I got about implementing it was insane.

I paid £165 for a 1 hour maternity shoot with 15 (digital) photos included in 2025. It was just maternity, not newborn.
I'm in the south west

Yep! 8 years on T, took a year to conceive (was a slog but is within what's considered average). I plan on starting trying for a second later this year.

Yeah, if you hang around on this sub you'll see that there are people here (myself included) who did the wait for and NHS GIC, got a diagnosis and referral on the NHS, and still have their GP refuse to prescribe. It's a whole thing. Many trans people in the UK end up going DIY (buying their hrt online) which is much cheaper than the private route.

Personally, I don't care if there are or are not people out there who want to be called trans but don't have dysphoria. My issue is that:
a) defining transness by dysphoria masks the reality that the point of transition is to treat dysphoria. That dysphoria is a symptom that can be treated and not a fundamental state of being
b) gatekeeping the trans label by dysphoria helps no one and can prevent those who would benefit from transition from accessing it, particularly because
c) there is no universally accepted answer to what dysphoria actually even is, or how you recognise it

Just so you are aware, that blanket would take an experienced crocheter weeks if not months to complete.

I have had top surgery so unfortunately can't speak to how that influences things, but I was wearing shirts right up until the birth I'm pretty sure. I don't have a ton of photos from that time but the one I've included is from when I was 31 weeks pregnant in a UK XXL shirt. I found that my waist size wasn't nearly as impacted as men's trousers sit low and were below the bump. I went from a 36 to a 40 waist.
I have acquaintances who saw me regularly (for example at my weekly choir rehearsals) who still don't know that I was pregnant, and I was not small! I'm not saying that no one noticed but some people see what they expect to see and more will be too polite to mention anything. YMMV but that's how it was for me.
I hope this helps, and congratulations!

I have no idea who Lily Tino is
