Ship is fine, and I do play it on occasion. That being said, the modding system for Recomp is miles beyond anything Ship has implemented, performance is much better, and if I remember right, a big OoT x MM randomizer has been teased at some point. I also thiiiiink that the updated RT64 engine with raytracing and such will drop around the same time as OoT Recomp. So it's not that I'm too good to use SoH, per se, it's just that I feel like there's a lot to look forward to with Recomp.

Soon™ it is, then 🫡

You just had to put that at the end of the video, eh? I have been waiting for OoT Recomp for so long, haha

It doesn't look like mouse input via touchpad is demonstrated in that video, which is what OP was asking about

when you grew up poor, you put "knex" for 2 across instead of "Lego"

at least four

Dooming aside in the thread, I think the initial rollout will be painful, but we're likely just going to be waiting for a maximum of however long it takes to make a fresh batch of the controllers. Valve does, after all, now have a handy gauge for as many people as are willing to purchase the controller when it gets into stock, so they know how many they need to manufacture.

Frigidaire recommends distilled white vinegar. I've been using Nu-calgon nickel safe ice machine cleaner which SEEMS to be working very well without hurting my machine, but I can't solidly endorse it just in case it's secretly corroding the whole thing from the inside out.
...but if you're willing to take the risk, it does work really nicely.

Came across this thread while I was researching opinions here on yaupon, but I'll offer a two month late opinion to say that I've found that the brewing cacao from Chocolate Alchemy is at least as good as Crio Bru (as long as you don't need the fancy flavors) and a fair amount cheaper! Wife and I love it.

why are you being so mean to the couch, it only ever supported you :(

I was looking for somebody else talking about this, I kept seeing a blip for a split second about "reservation servers" but couldn't read fast enough to see exactly it was saying about such servers
edit: says "reservation servers are busy right now, please try again later"
Would be nice if they threw up some backorders for it in the next day or two!

I'm not the one who got fleeced by an alleged friend, bud 🤷🏼♂️

Do external players have the ability to sync time back to Stremio if you close them now? That was a big obstacle to me using them in the past.

Yeah, regular white vinegar cleanings have helped a lot. Make sure you also get into the reservoir behind the removable tank (little clear plastic door that slides up) and clean back there really well - it can grow mold and cause issues. Likely that cleaning with bleach on weeks where you don't clean with vinegar would help a lot there. If it still grinds after a vinegar bath, give it an hour or two, it might just need to clear the minerals the rest of the way through. Failing that, another rinse with vinegar.
Might try phosphoric acid at some point, as that allegedly is better for the machine

1) didn't read thoroughly
2) typically, jb guides with steps of such vital importance have it in big ol' red letters, not text with a single bolded word the same size of the rest of the guide on page zero of the guide
3) yes, I owned up to my mistake, and I realize the irony

Seriously, this thing is a bugger and a half with cleaning. I had considered the GE Opal but apparently that has similar issues if you have hard water, so I guess for ice machines it's either "buy gallons of distilled water for the ice machine" or "buy gallons of vinegar for weekly cleaning."
That said, might try phosphoric acid concentrate soon and see if that lasts longer than the vinegar. A good deep vinegar clean does help with the squeaking -> grinding -> demonic scream progression, but it does get more frequent as time goes on.

Cleaning multiple times with distilled white vinegar (I put a few cups in and run the cycle 3-4 times) then running the cleaning cycle again multiple times with fresh water (distilled if you want, that apparently reduces wear on things). Failing that... Probably a return/exchange where you got it, if possible.

May not be an option with the active cooling. I could definitely see a solution that is a lot more portable than the current dock being possible, but I worry that something like the Genki Covert wouldn't be able to fully utilize the Switch 2's power
orangesrhyme
I am almost 100% positive I took an acting class from your sister, haha. Go Knights!
orangesrhyme
Yeah, when I cleaned it before I used diluted vinegar. I think you need something stronger than either that or dilute citric acid (the stuff in the cleaning solutions) if your water is particularly hard 😕 Hope it works for you, though!
orangesrhyme
I did! The noise seems to have gone away after I ran two cups of straight white distilled vinegar through on the cleaning cycle. Ran the cycle with those two cups (not draining out the hoses each time).... Maybe 3 times? Then I ran clean water through, draining it each time, probably another 3 times. I reckon it was either bleach from the previous cleaning that was drying out the auger inside, or a chunk of minerals that hadn't been rinsed away that were grinding up against stuff. Been going strong for a few days now 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Good luck!
Especially since the (official?) woodo wiki and various news articles talking about the game prior to release talk about how it does support mouse controls on the Switch 2. Spent way too long trying to troubleshoot it and figure out why the mouse wasn't working in the game.
