top 1% commenter, how much time do you spend posting wilfully obtuse slop?

"cars" includes hybrids and EVs. specifying ICE cars is directly relevant to the point of the post.

ain't nobody adding decimals to this stuff

its easy to see this as a huge issue when you dismiss the obvious solution right off the bat lol.

my car just uses .5 intervals for temperature, problem solved.

so much of this discussion about celsius vs fahrenheit comes down to "X is easier to understand", "X is more intuitive", etc, and so few people seem to understand that that's just based on experience.

if someone tells me its 80°F, that means absolutely nothing to me until i do the conversion. if someone tells me its 27°C, i know immediately what that means because ive been in 27°C weather many times.

this is obviously due to the fact that ive used celsius daily for decades and never used fahrenheit. it would be incredibly stupid to put this down as a failure of fahrenheit, or an advantage of celsius.

The top marginal rate of income tax peaked from 1967-1974 at 80 per cent. Since 1976, the top marginal rate of income tax has been on a downward trajectory (with the exception of 1983-1984, when it was increased) and is now currently at 40 per cent. However, were USC included, the top marginal rate of income tax would be 48 per cent in 2019.

you've cooked your attention span to the point where you can't handle basic maths and you're trying to blame the website?
