The Dark and whatever lives in that, DS3s Forbidden Flame, and Velka are all godlike forces that show up in lore tabs and have influenced/themed enemies you run into.

Definitely not as pronounced as what we see in bloodborne or elden ring but its been a thing on the fringes of the lore since at least ds1

Ok so that's what the picture represents but how does it relate to not seeing AI videos?

I'm trying to stretch my brain and see a connection of, like, we're not "seeing" them because they've become so good and... What, are the metaphorical "planes coming back home" the AI videos we're not seeing?

I feel like such a moron because this is apparently so self evident that it never warrants an explanation of how the planes relate to the "less AI" we're seeing, you always just get an explanation about the planes

Or am I overthinking this and trying to force a metaphor that doesn't exist. And it's just a shorthand of survivorship bias where we aren't seeing AI that's so good you don't notice it

It's gotta be a two tap from mega kill clip and high weapons right?

overallprettyaverage

Yep, tbh it's kind of been "better" with deadhead already. Crux infinite ammo has always been the funny but less powerful choice. ADS with all the crit modifiers does a surprising amount of damage

overallprettyaverage

they turned off all social media moments before the entire community pointed out this exact situation in the weeks leading up to launch

One requires probably fairly convoluted coding to patch a specific interaction.

The other is a sledgehammer that cuts it off at the knees and pisses off people in deep enough to have the gun and the mod and probably won't leave as a result.

They're primarily focused on the Tau update, and pretty much all the 2026 updates have been half baked, reportedly due to this.

They won't spend time with the scalpel. Make your peace with it now.

I mean pm players had that plus a bonus 3rd space animal that did it but it knocked you diagonal up

But yeah pm was way sicker than melee I'll die on that hill

Drones were the name of the game for me. The needle drone was also OP as fuck and that was even before they buffed them.

And yeah putting aside the personal buffs from not needing to run ghost? One person running these gives everyone on the team ghost and CB, and with how many ppl just run gunfighter all reds or whatever weirdo shit they feel like, that's a big damn deal.

My win rate shot up as soon as I started running these things

overallprettyaverage

Honestly I'm shocked it took this long

overallprettyaverage

Hold on let me look into my crystal ball real quick

Every time I see him get a dogshit level with just dex I laugh. All according to plan. Hatchet man stocks are roaring

overallprettyaverage

How do you get that shield?

It's really just the utility of having a flying tank with skills that make javelins even better. I was a wing soldier believer for her until I unlocked Dragoon, now I fully buy into soldier -> armored ornius -> dragoon

If you can, it's really worth getting her into Warrior for the bonus combat art hit rate. Nuking something down with near perfect accuracy Double Throw rules.

She likes axe access a lot just for Guard Spike anyways, since prt +10 combined with her bulk makes her really good for opening up dangerous enemies

overallprettyaverage

Mu gets heal, nos, warp, and aura

Her magic isn't terrible, you could probably mainline her into a mage class but I ended up just putting her into normal phys classes -> guardian. Well rounded, doubles with 1-2 range javelins, has the flexibility to hit res when needed with Nos. Felt pretty good, and then the Warp utility later on is obviously great to have.

There also isn't much opportunity cost to go this route since Olympia can kinda stop studying magic once she gets physic, like all she really needs to work is Nosferatu and Physic. So you just do normal lance based stuff with Mu most of the game and have her get the mage training alongside Sirroco once you're done with Olympia.

I bet that, if you're really optimal with getting all the manuals, do some overworld grinding, have all the karma buffs, etc you could also get Catania to a high enough white magic level to pull off the forbidden "3 warpers on one route" technique

overallprettyaverage

Feels like they were trying for them to be good vs armor/high def units but that relevancy is irrelevant when you have so many ways to bypass that esp with access to hammers

overallprettyaverage

3 routes deep and she has been an MVP every time

Turns out that a unit with enough speed/a personal ability to not get doubled, a shitload of str/def, peg knight access, the ability to make any thrown lance more accurate, and making every thrown lance into a brave weapon is absolutely nuts

overallprettyaverage

Flavorful.

overallprettyaverage

This is a big tip bc I legit thought you couldn't save scum them at all, since it does force save after a test attempt

The chapter reset option continues to be busted beyond belief lol

overallprettyaverage

Credit given where it's due, the actual fights have been really good so far! Varied map design and objectives, different terrain, no class feels obviously OP and tend to have meaningful downsides to consider, etc... but the problem is that has been maybe 10% of the gameplay so far.

The majority of the time I've spent on this game has been fucking around with boring random encounters in open fields, clearing dungeons with a very half baked turn based JRPG mode, and farming up units.

Act 2 is (I think?) 7 glorious chapters of back to back banger fire emblem missions with no overworld map, no bullshit, just dudes on a grid. I imagine Act 3 will go back to the overworld map so I'll be manually clearing Act 2 for each route, it's just been so much fun

overallprettyaverage

If you mess up and finish the route, can you just go through chapter select, see these, and go back to the obelisk room to see the next one using chapter select again?

overallprettyaverage

Ong that describes at least half the mfs I've tried using in this game

overallprettyaverage

It's just unreal. Feels like Haar Lite tbh, a flying 1-2 range enemy phase demon with insane def and enough speed to double chaff and dodge being doubled by most stuff that's more threatening

overallprettyaverage

if you're going to vins for complex world design and well thought out balance changes you need to get your head checked

it's a high effort shitpost mod made by someone craving a new DMC game and shouldn't be taken seriously

overallprettyaverage

Can't believe I had to scroll so far for this one. PCR leak was really the first time I saw less believers than doubters by a significant margin.

Everyone was so dead set on it being a Godwyn final boss and, y'know, we already knew we had to kill Radahn to get to the DLC- everyone assumed it was someone trying to soft launch some mod if they didn't think it was just a hoax

overallprettyaverage

They saw dcj was slowing down and knew they had to do something it's the only possible explanation
