The instructions telling you to cook the pasta for 11 minutes is likely based on sea level altitude. As you go up in altitude water boils at a lower temperature therefore making it necessary to cook the pasta longer. Where I live water boils at 16 degrees lower than it would at sea level.

Considering that we have a wannabe dictator and fascist who is destroying our country, there wasn't much to celebrate. We can't be sure our democracy will survive trump.

I have the same problem with First Alert detectors. They go off for no apparent reason. I called the company and they said I need to vacuum the device to clear dust. I did, but it only worked for a couple days. Adjacent detectors aren't going off.

It's definitely mountain pine beetle and judging from the number of hits we can see, your tree is doomed. You have to peel back the bark to see the blue stain. If you find that, it only confirms the diagnosis. I have dealt with this problem for over 40 years and never has anyone suggested using whatever R10 is. If that's supposed to be a repellent, it's too late. Infected trees are supposed to be cut down and covered with plastic before June to help prevent the beetle spreading. Good luck.
