We bought these stairs from Amazon. They are a cross between stairs and a ramp, and our 2 senior Chi's have done very well with them. We just started using them when the pups were 15 & 16 years old, and they have adapted very well.

I have used fingertip dental wipes that come in a small jar of 50 that are less objectionable to dogs. I bought from Amazon.

I also have a spray bottle of tartar cleaner that is sprayed on the teeth. Seems to work pretty well.
