"Local poster thinks about Trump and gay sex, admits it on the internet."

Because even the richest states have large areas that are not rich. NYC, Long Island, and Westchester fund the overwhelming amount of NY's state budget. Most of the rest of the state is a recipient of those state taxes.

You know what, unironically, would actually be a huge benefit? "Claude, recursively review my entire website and tell me where it is noncompliant with ADA standards." Is this the one B2B dullard who doesn't know AI can help with this?

Schizophrenia is no joke.

I prefer F-1 races to NASCAR. NASCAR is run to watch and everything, and it's more fun to go see in person because there's so much people watching to do, but Formula 1 just has so much more action. It's like baseball vs. basketball.

By that logic if we tax you $0 you come out even further ahead. Why wimp out? Go full MMT.

phoenix823

Why single out women when 100% of all child murder is done by a homo sapien?

phoenix823

How has the US GDP done in the same timeframe?

You elect a branding maniac to the Presidency, this is what you get. He’s no engineer, lawyer, doctor, architect, plumber, electrician, or any other skilled worker. He’s a moron.

If you study a little more history, you'll realize there have always been difficult times. 2008 financial crisis destroyed millions of middle class lives. 9/11 brought terror and anthrax attacks. Terrorism. Crazy inflation in the 1980's. Lots of violence and crime in the 70s and 80s. Iran Contra. Oil shock. Equal Rights and the end to Jim Crowe. Cuban Missile Crisis. The Red Scare.

That's just life.

A private room in a shared house with shared utilities.

How many actual women in real life support killing children and aren’t just a Chinese algorithm working you up?

phoenix823

high-end salami

It's prosciutto, you fucking hayseed.

phoenix823

No.

Gee it's a good thing those senior Pentagon leaders didn't have 20+ years of experience, advanced degrees, and lots of understanding the nuance of warfare, logistics, and managing gigantic groups of people. I'm sure we can just replace them with some guy in a red hat.

Look at Karen over here trying to tell other people how to live their lives. Mind your own business, Karen.

A Corvette and a Ford GT are different cars, brainiac.

You asked 2 different questions.

Does culture matter to a leader? Moreso than just about anything else. Culture dictates how aggressive or passive people act. High growth or a lifestyle business. Process heavy or ad hoc. Formal chains of command or flat management structure. Open vs. closed. Cheap vs. extravagant. Go visit a state government IT group then go visit the IT group at a big bank, then go visit one at a tech startup and you'll see drastically different kinds of companies, teams, and ways to run them. Leaders ignore all of this at their peril.

But your second question is about "not buying into the culture" and people not "caring about a corporation" and the impact that has on how you're viewed. To me, those sound like fancy ways of saying you do your 9-5, keep to yourself, and aren't a great team player. That's a perfectly acceptable mid-level "meets expectations" person in relatively steady, consistent companies. If you try that at a start up you'll be out the door in a week. If you think you deserve lots of money and promotions, you'll be disappointed. If you want to be the short blade of grass, that's fine. But calibrate your expectations if you do.

phoenix823

This.

Considering a future Treasury will certainly undo this, it almost functions like a honeypot. It’s a spotlight where to look for crimes.

phoenix823

Big government gives the broad populace a defense against unbridled capitalism. Neither extreme is good, we need capable government and capable enterprise to balance each other.

phoenix823

This anti-democratic effluent is not economics.

phoenix823

Cuck

phoenix823

He was going to do it anyway.

So we're already socialist. Trump admin got equity in Intel, Lithium Americas, and some quantum computing firms.
