The answer will be: They'll be forced to sell what meager resources (primarily land) they have to stay afloat, and when that runs out, starve.

photoshopbot_01

What's the higher level work you speak of in this case?

photoshopbot_01

There's a difference. The industrial revolution removed a lot of hard physical labour jobs (particularly the ones which were simple and involved brute force without personalized skill or fine motor skills). If AI removes the intelligence based jobs, what arena is there left for us to compete in?

I'll ask another question. Is there a task today which humans can do, that you are confident AI can't do in the next year? If you asked that question about mechanical machines during the industrial revolution, people would be able to quickly identify dozens of tasks (reading, playing chess, drawing something, solving a logic puzzle, writing a poem, etc), but I don't think the same is true today about AI.

Thank you. You're the first in the thread to actually answer the question.

There's nothing innately human about the economy. Resources can be extracted and sold, raw materials can be made into goods, all without human intervention, by one ai controlled robot swarm to another. For a time there will be trade between humans and AI whilst humans still have skills that AI doesn't, but if AI surpasses us in intelligence we will eventually be out-competed.

Counter proposal, the averaged input gets sent to two regular steering tires on a different car.

This is what I came here for.

Walkaway was good. It's more Solarpunk rather than Cyberpunk, and hopeful rather than dystopia.

Some stuff to consider.
Do they have any access to your phone's location (like with find my phone or some other app)?

If you're not sure, try turning location off and your phone to airplane mode one night and see if they come to check on you.

IMO it's less suspicious if you just sneak out without inviting your friend over too, but maybe there are other reasons for that you didn't mention in your post.

The window - if it's a lock then they normally come with a bunch of tiny keys which might be stashed somewhere in a drawer or something. Often all the windows in a house have the same lock so any of the keys will work. If you can't find a key but can identify the model of the lock you might be able to just buy one online as a lot of window locks just have universal keys you can get. Normally windows are also easy to lock pick- look up some basic lock picking tutorials and try make some tools from stuff you already have access to. If you have access to a pair of pliers I recommend bending one of the tines of a fork as a tension wrench and using a hairpin as your pick.

I feel if they die then you can't cash those in.

A longer brake wire adjustment screw (the screw which goes into your break lever assembly). They would be easy to make but as far as I can tell, they don't exist.

Why do I want it? When I get new brake wires, they always go through a period of stretching a bit. Then when that brake pad wears down there is normally a bit left in it before it needs to be replaced, but the only way to get the usage of that is to pull more brake cable through the mechanism, since the screw is fully extended at that point.
It would be so much simpler to have a screw which was say 10mm longer. Maybe also a break lever mechanism which would take a longer screw but you know I think most of them could handle something a little longer no problem.

does the fan plug in to the wall? it would be easier to just set the fan always "on" and control the wall power with a connected smart plug.

photoshopbot_01

right I thought you meant a paper notebook

This is just a phone with a local llm and in airplane mode, with a drill nearby.

Wiring seems generally like it would work. A cheap hobby brushless drone motor is probably going to be too fast and loud though. I would personally use a dc motor. With desk fans you wanna move a bunch of air without it being loud and obnoxious, so a big, slow fan is good. Also it doesn't need to be light like a drone so using a big heavy motor isn't a downside.

If you are set on using brushless, consider FOC? not very beginner friendly, but would produce less noise and better torque at low speed than a cheap hobby ESC.

Why is there always someone asking how to make art economically viable?

I'd use an arduino nano, real time clock module, breadboard + some jumper wires, a basic 9 gram servo and a button. If you are feeling fancy, add a lcd display to show the time, or a countdown timer.

Find a simple servo tutorial online, wire up the arduino as shown and upload the code to it. Yay, moving servo! Try changing the angle it moves at so you can move it a full 180 and back again.

Next try a tutorial for the real time clock module. Once you have the basic tutorial working, add in the servo code to the instruct the servo to move to a particular position when the clock reports a specific time. If the button is pressed, instruct the servo to move to the initial position.

Alternative, analog version. Get a cheap analog battery powered clock module, remove the minute hand. Add a 2 to 1 gear mechanism to the hour hand, so now you have a gear which turns only once per day. Make a little flag which gets physically flipped when the day long gear completes one full rotation. You have to manually flip it back to reset it.

Once you find it, replace the battery with one which is almost used up and put it back. Then set up a camera with a view of your car. The tag should show as being low battery, and the person who is tracking you might come to replace it.

Funnily enough there already is a word for female android (gynoid), but they didn't use it.

"we don't want men in the women's restroom" they said. Then they made a law to force men to use the women's restroom.

Normally I would say open up a broken electronic device, it's interesting to see how it works. Microwaves are the exception to this. Don't mess with it.

In the post they said they printed the first layer, then added the tulle.
