These are the kind of posts I’m here for.

Man,I need to read his “the painter” again

We need a suncoast supercut video

His “Fiskadoro” is kind of fun

Already lots of great advice and tips here. Will throw in my personal experience-also in my 40’s,got back into collecting. While I wasn’t able to get any of my kids interested in collecting,I did pick back up a couple of my own childhood collections (Paul O’Neill and Cecil Fielder, which they do still make cards for) and I also got involved with tcdb.com and doing some trading through the mail with folks. I’d suggest either finding a couple players the kids like and pick up/trade for singles or build a set together. Then you could buy whatever format (fat packs, hangers, etc) and build the set and you might pull some other fun stuff along the way.

I ripped through an audio version last week, good one

Any interest in selling the Fielder card?

Message sent for Fielder platinum prize and couple Schlittler cards

I don’t know if it’s the one you’re looking for but I had made a clip a few years back form an episode where Sam was doing a mash up of Jake the Snake and a spider which is pretty great. That was from Patreon episode “Varsity Family Members” 07/13/21

☝️great advice up here. I turned a $20 fb marketplace buy of a couple shoe boxes of cards into a year of Trading Card Database trades for cards of players I collect

I’ve got a good amount of dupes-if you want to message me cards you’re looking for I can send you out anything I have

☝️getting in with this community is a great way to build sets and connect with other collectors

I recently came across one of your posts for the first time (flooding in Cincinnati/Crosley field). I read it out to some older guys at work (Cincinnati area) who enjoyed it having attended games there when they were kids. I look forward to following your projects!

Awesome piece! Called to my mind this painting by JMW Turner “Sunrise with Sea Monsters”
