taconazo express has always been hit or miss for me, but taconazo el tio has always treated me well

at least give me the classic stacker back. that thing was cheap, salty, and bad for me in exactly the right way.

Amer Talla has done a few jobs on short notice for me. He’s prompt, professional, and very good at what he does.

yep fair enough!

that said, logan square, wicker park, avondale, and other northwest side neighborhoods are extremely trans friendly

the expansive group is an extremely queer therapy practice!

i’m a trans chicagoan and have never felt anything but safe and accepted here. the only place i’ve felt at all like a spectacle is on the mag mile, and then mostly just because it’s so full of tourists that it doesn’t even feel like the city anymore.

there are trans people going about their lives normally all over the city, not just in the gayborhoods. i see other trans people on a daily basis in logan square.

you’re sapphic so it’s absolutely a space for you!

also dorothy has a silent book club every month

pieps

yeah they could have made the trees and pergola a really nice feature of the park, rather than razing the tree cover

i miss bistro campagne’s all you can eat mussel days so much!

when i looked at the first picture i thought it was a tattoo of a skyline mirrored over the line. i’ve seen lots of art, photos, book covers that use this effect or something like it.

i just refer to it as “government watchlist sudafed” when asking the pharmacist and that usually makes it clear that this whole situation is absurd.

by the time the patriot act added these sudafed limits and crew the watchlist, cartels had already found more cost-effective and readily available precursors from which to cook meth. so this does essentially nothing but hassle people with sinus congestion.

also don’t get me started on phenylephrine, which was (or maybe still is?) sold as a product that does anything at all for congestion but has been shown to perform roughly the same as a placebo.

check your skincare products! things like benzoyl peroxide will make you more sensitive to the sun. same with antibiotics.

this is my favorite, but don’t try to buy it on amazon: counterfeits are common.

i’ve also really been enjoying geek & gorgeous zero feel day cream. it’s got the same ingredients as their european sunblock, but isn’t marketed as a sunblock in the US so that they can legally sell it here.

i didn’t realize this sub was only for pregnant people

pieps

hi please reread my comment. have you experienced any of these things? if not, you have no business telling a woman to forego lifesaving surgery.

pieps

are you trans? do you understand what gender dysphoria feels like? there’s a reason that 41% of us attempt suicide.

i agree that this timing isn’t ideal, but it’s unreasonable to expect someone to completely suborn their needs to someone else because of a pregnancy.

Transsexualism is indeed a medical diagnosis, and while there are other diagnosis codes that are less dated (F64.9, for instance), F64.0 is still commonly used.

i have KP and use an AHA lotion on my legs a few times a week, and it helps a lot. maybe give that a try?

“move aside for the landed gentry, peasant”

pieps

there was a block club article yesterday that went into a lot of detail on this. for many, shelters are not an option, and many resources have strings attached. for example, religious charities are often hostile to queer/trans people.

and rocking horse!
