I never really cared for Monsters V.S. Aliens that much as a kid but the Halloween special was pretty memorable to me. An alien serum ends up on a pumpkin patch on Earth which mutates all the pumpkins, mayhem ensues that Halloween night.

Gwendolyn from The Owl House unintentionally favored Eda over Lilith, Eda was always more reckless and rebellious while Lilith behaved herself and thought inside the box. This made Gwen spend more time looking out for her younger daughter while neglecting Lilith. Things would only get worse for everyone when Eda was cursed, "fixing" her became Gwen's top priority which gave Eda unwanted attention and babying, other times puting her life in danger while Lilith essentially became an afterthought.

Another Owen Dennis show, Grace and Simon from Infinity Train. They were a very chaotic duo, partners in crime even. It's implied that their friendship was even romantic at one point, it all goes downhill for them tragically. With Simon even wanting Grace dead.

Ping is probably the weirdest one for me, it doesn't help that she's showing off her ass in her artwork. Of course the panda girl is asian, what other ethnicity could a panda be? No hate of course.

I understand that Cassandra is a cynical and standoffish person, that makes her a good parallel to Rapunzel who's always optimistic and sees the good in everyone. It's just that some episodes forget to make her likable, I think "Challenge of the brave" is a good episode for her. She wanted to win this series of warrior games to prove that she can be more than just a lady-in-waiting but Rapunzel took that completely over and stole the spotlight from her in a misguided attempt to bond with her. It's not that Cassandra just doesn't want a challenge, she wanted to prove her naysayers wrong. She does deserve to be there. The episode where they were having a peace banquet though was a pretty bad episode for her, for some reason she's annoyed that Rapunzel made gift baskets with tiny portraits of all the guests. It was a very generous and thoughtful offering, especially since they were trying to avoid an actual war here. "Why do you have to be so...you?" Makes it seem like Cassandra just hates Rapunzel's personality sometimes and is frustrated that she isn't a jaded asshole like her. It's crazy work that she has the audacity to blame Rapunzel for her own kidnapping, I know she wishes Gothel paid attention to her instead but it's not like Rapunzel ever chose to leave her parents and kingdom behind to be a living battery for a bitter old woman.

Kikimora from The Owl House, she does get a lot of screentime for a character nobody in the fandom likes. She is one of emperor's main assistants so it makes sense she became a more prominent antagonist in season two but she really overstays her welcome according to fans during a season three episode. Season three was already packed for time so it was pretty odd that she had a completely new scheme taking over Hexside and oppressing the students there along with Boscha.

For problematic ships I like but don't write fics about, Martha x Mrs. Mayberry from Helluva Boss. Even though Mayberry hired some hitmen to kill Martha and Martha ruined Mayberry's life because of the affair with her husband that spiraled into ruining her career as a schoolhouse teacher. I eat their relationship up because it's so wild and engaging. As for problematic ships I do write for, Asu x Kizana from Yandere Simulator. I like writing about the rivals from the game realizing they're too good for Taro and just end up dating each other instead, Asu and Kizana are very interesting to me even though I'll admit they don't have the healthiest relationship. Kizana bullies Asu, she may be mostly unbothered by it but it's still an awful experience for her. For Kizana, Asu unintentionally feeds into her insecurity that she's not good enough. Kizana tries being popular the mean and dominate way but Asu is popular just by being her kind and honest self. A lot of it is also because she's good at sports but also because she's a genuinely well-rounded person. I enjoy writing them becoming better people thanks to having each other in their lives.

I actually don't think so, I feel Emily could only be considered "Better than Charlie" because she was raised in a more stable environment and was always surrounded by good, nice people. You can say what you want about Sera but I think she was a more well adjusted guardian for Emily than Charlie's dad at least was for her. Charlie meanwhile is constantly around the worst people imaginable, her parents taught her morals but they were kinda the only role models she had and they were seemingly both very flawed people. I feel like Charlie would be seen as the superior character if she lived in Heaven and vice versa.

Cassandra is a slightly more goofy and quirky version of myself but she's still a lot like me where she has my creativity and enthusiasm. There's also Magatta Noz, a character in a separate universe who's the librarian at the Lunaverse Library. She's not only a nod to the fact that I've volunteered at a library before but the reason I made my persona in this fandom a librarian specifically is because I'm a storyteller who likes entertaining others.

This is very pretty!

I love how Ruby is the feisty but kind leader, Amber is the practical joker, Saffron is the intellectual bookworm, Fern is very earthy, Sky and Izzy are both the creative type yet Sky is more peaceful while Izzy is more confrontational, and Heather is the calm one. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Lilith from The Owl House, she wanted us to think she's intimidating. Even down to the fact that she dyes her hair to feel more threatening. But it's not long before we realize that she's not actually like this deep down. She's dorky, excitable towards small things, insecure. Her true self is shown in small ways very early on with how easily annoyed she gets at Eda. Very shrill whenever her sister won't listen to her or take her seriously.

Pearl's hair always looked more pale orange/brown to me than pink. That's just me anyways.

Ah, I see. Thanks! I wonder if Victoria, Amber, Luna, and Crystal the fairies would even assemble their own band. I don't know anything about Luna the loom band fairy but Victoria already likes music, though Crystal canoically gets stage fright and Amber is never shown to be interested in music specifically. Her sister Izzy at least is in the movie.

For you maybe, I always enjoy it.

Frosta from the She Ra reboot in particular. Adora goes to her first ever princess prom in this episode with Glimmer and Bow and she sees that the hostess Princess Frosta is a kid.

Spinel from SU, her role on Homeworld was basically to be the personal jester for Pink Diamond.

Wish we saw more of Philomena with Celestia, also do Luna and Cadance have pets as well? I know they gave Luna a possum or something in the books/comics but I mean a pet that's canon to the main show.

The funny thing is that my Sci-fi characters have jobs but we never get to see what kind of currency they have. Shinzoyuki volunteered at an animal shelter and is often a babysitter, (She has one family of clients who are actually rich too.) Daiyayuki has her own business selling perfumes, and Nova is a museum curator. Plus my main team are basically first responders. We know they've got to be getting paid with something, it's just unclear what.

I liked the way this YouTuber Star Strike suggested they could add characters like Celestia into the show and still have it feel unique from G4. That maybe instead of her being this divine sun goddess, maybe she's just Twilight's grandma. I think that could work because I don't see why her personality would be changed that much if she were a grandmother. She'd still tell Twilight stories, pull her leg a little bit just to be funny, and overall be very kind and sweet to her. Twilight being this very considerate and caring granddaughter who always visits her favorite relative would be super wholesome too.

polystarlight

Yeah! She's unironically one of my favorite fusions now, just because of how entertaining she is as a character.

The Busby girls for real don't get a moment of privacy, we've seen the quints using the toilet multiple times unfortunately in the show and not just for potty training. Seeing this for Blayke especially is unacceptable because I just know people online will be weird and creepy about it and it could be something she could get picked on for at school if any of her classmates see this.

polystarlight

I do have characters with red and orange eyes, the catch is those characters are possessed and those aren't their regular eye colors. I used those colors precisely for the uncanniness.

polystarlight

If this were canon in the movies, I feel Johnny would've rebelled against his bigoted family a lot sooner than Erika. He's more open-minded and chill while Erika was more easily brainwashed because of how stubborn and bloodthirsty she was, though a lot of that could've been due to the fact that she was raised on a cruise ship her whole life so she couldn't get as many experiences that would challenge the indoctrination she went through.

polystarlight

Thank you so much for reading! 🥲 I wanted to get this out as soon as possible because I already established in an unpublished fic that Sleepy has an October birthday, not canon but that's what I've chosen to be this version of the character's birthday month. He's now one of two characters in this story to have an October birthday with the other being my OC Fern. I think the found family aspect of the show is very interesting and I think it has a lot of potential to be explored more in fanfiction. Twisted is very stubborn and does not see Hanazuki as his niece and I'm sure he would find Dazzlessence Jones annoying but Sleepy loves them and they will always be family to him and will always treat him better than his own brother ever could.
