Become an aircraft mechanic. I’ve heard right out of school guys with their license are making at low 30s an hour at some companies (with good benefits too). Not 80k but that’s good money for no experience.

If you’re across from the elementary school it’s a nice area. Safe area with middle class homes that haven’t been knocked down yet for million dollar townhouses. Lots of families and old Floridians live in this area. As a few have mentioned the flooding from heavy rain is your worst enemy. I work at the airport a couple miles down the road and it was the worst I’ve ever seen in 34 years. Not sure if it will happen again, nobody can guess the weather. Is it up and coming ? I think so because as they run out of space developing other parts of Fort Lauderdale they’ll turn to this area south of downtown. However this is like a 10 year forecast.
