Seriously. Just root. I was weary at first but it was so worth it.
To answer your original question...yes you can. Go get your digital camera, and take a picture of your screen.

Yeah, it's looking like early 2011 and it will be CDMA, so probably no web and talk at the same time...

Wait for the Verizon iPhone.. just kidding, but the HTC Merge is looking pretty awesome.

The family plan will make it cheaper. I am assuming your wife uses alot of talk minutes then to get it up to $80, if you are both on the same plan you won't use any minutes to call each other (mobile to mobile) so you can probably reduce your plan minutes.

You asked about a phone and got answers about a carrier.

He's playing a set in LA at midnight, gotta catch a plane!

They have fee-free tickets at the Independent and Fox Theater.

These are really nice wallpapers. Does anyone know of a free app that switches wallpapers at a set time interval? (I'm aware that Tasker could do this but I haven't spent the money on it yet).

Root and install as a system app. Then it will get reinstalled/restarted on reboot, unless they flash your phone with a new ROM.. a typical phone thief probably won't be doing that...

Not sure how true this is but refurbs may be in better shape than the new ones since they probably have an extra "inspection" after refurbishing.

Yes. Take a look here: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/product.html
Locale combined with Astrid (todo app) can tell you to do tasks when you are in the right location.
Astrid Locale Plugin: An extremely useful utility, Locale allows you to have notifications sent to you based on you location. Going by the grocery store? Astrid reminds you that you need more cereal! It requires Locale, a separate application to be purchased from TwoFortyFourAm. This works very simply. Create tasks with tags in Astrid. Potentially useful include ”personal”, “home”, “work” or “grocery store.” In Locale you can connect these tags to Locale situation (times of the day, locations on a map etc). When the conditions of the situation are met, Astrid will notify you that it might be a good time to do the tasks that are tagged accordingly.

This is the best approach if there is no app like this already.
Edit: I found an app combo without using Tasker.

Trillian and Fabook chat work well.

If your memory is too low on your phone it could stop loading messages. Other option is to clear storage in gmail under manage applications and have it resync.

How hard is it to find 4-AcO-DMT? I had never heard of it until this post.

Good deal all together, although you might have been able to get it for cheaper because of the cracked screen. You could probably sell the fixed phone now for $550 because it has a brand new screen..

ah, I think you are right. I never bothered checking it and seeing if it did anything.

I usually have the home screen rotation disabled but I just tried timing it on my Eris running XTRrom with ADW launcher, its about 2 seconds each way as well for home screens (including widgets), but in apps the rotation is pretty much instant.
I do think XTRrom is faster than CM6 though.

Appbrain or titanium backup.

This isn't answering your question but Cubed has the best Android music player UI I've found and its pretty similar to the iphone/Ipod touch interaction.
Sometimes even a crappy cell phobe video can bring you back to that moment. It can act as trigger/cue to a memory . Sure, you can get obsessed with filming but capturing a few moments here and there only helps lock in that memory from being overwritten by your ever aging and rewiting brain.
