Read all of these except Anathem (Stephenson isn't for me). Lions of Al rassan and War of Light and Shadow (it's on the list).

I've read every single book here.

You could pick 100 fights from Malazan and any could be correct. Apsalar's dance. Tayschrenn vs Rake just to kick the whole thing off.

😏

And the one from Gquuuux might be even cooler. Which is crazy

Second slewfoot sighting this week. Nice. ALways upvote Brom.

Also Shout out to Child of Mecha. He is recently back to building. Old school builder who has actually placed in the GBWC. Super detailed videos if you really want to know how top builders do their thing.

So should G reco. I know the plot is a mess. But I love it, especially after the movies. THe animal is so fucking good.

GunplaMeli for me

It's an incredible book though.

On Spotify AI is the point. The owner/founder of Spotify has a direct relationship with a guy whose company pumps out AI songs. Because of the way Spotify divides revenue, the more play AI songs get, the less money goes into the pocket of actual artists and stays with Spotify and it's ...friends.

Lancer is one of those things that I'm aware of, familiar with and interested in, but I see the memes and have no idea what is going on except everyone is supremely horny

This. I have one metal build. I want them all. but I'm super selective. Still mad I missed Kampfer.

And the extra uuuuuu are plot relevant

Shit I think 3.1 PRO is horny as hell. It takes almost no goading to get it to do crazy stuff. I actually stopped using it mostly because of that.

I came here to say this quote. It's the best way to describe the series which is silly and serious.

The second one is genuinely the worst movie I've ever seen. I can't believe a third got made

This is wild to me. I largely agree with this list, but I loved Time War.

Same thought I had reading this list.

So did you fall into the blade or something?

Well if I'm being truly honest Turin will always and forever be my favorite

I have read every Stormlight book within a month of release, but Haven't touched Wind and Truth because of everything I've heard.

It's my most read book and gets better with every read. But it takes some intentional effort. The creation story is tough to get through the first time, but it's one of my favorite parts now

You and I might be best friends, but we would have EPIC fights about the Silmarillion

Eric Nylund's A Signal to Noise and A Signal Shattered are kind of like this.
