That’s what it looks like in monitoring the stores in my part of the U.S. (Mid-Atlantic states: PA, NJ, DE, MD). There is so little of anything in stock, especially for the Pro Max. Multiple configurations always say “Not available at the 12 nearest stores.” The models that are more reliably in stock are the 2TB ones…but not even in every color.

From what it looks like in the Mid-Atlantic states where I am (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland), they seem to have underestimated demand for the 18 Pro Max and initially overestimated demand for the 18 Pro (though demand seems to have picked up given the long backorder times of the Pro Max).

I think the stellar battery life estimates for the Pro Max combined with the fact that the phone is only $100 more than the Pro has to be a key reason. I was originally going to get a Pro Max but ended up getting the Pro and am happy with it. It’s still the largest phone I’ve ever owned. (I just upgraded from a 13 Mini.)

There is no tinge of brown anywhere in Houston, other than the concrete. It’s a humid, green swamp, whereas Denver is semi-arid high plains (steppe).
