Marcoola / Mudjimba is my favourite pocket on the Sunshine Coast, just grab take out and eat it on the beach. Young owner too. Also, definitely wouldn’t say most beautiful beaches but they are nice.

Hungry sailor in Marcoola are a great fish & chip shop, I was there a month ago and they had a sign saying ( we now sell flake for the victorians ) the owner said they got asked for it so much they now stock it. I’m from melb and lived on the sunny coast for a few months start of this year.

I remember the first time I went to Merimbula area 3 years ago I thought yeah it’s nice but I don’t need to come here again, turned out to be a favourite place and have been twice a year since! Easy said coming from Victoria though.
