Feed real food, no kibble! I’d also add fish oil and a good joint supplement since Frenchies are so prone to back issues.

I use a lot of Four Leaf Rover supplements and love them. Mine are on both mushroom supplements, the oil, and the hip & joint supplement. I’ve seen these make such a huge difference. I also use Yeast Guard, which I believe has a probiotic in it. If you don’t need Yeast Guard, I’d look into Four Leaf Rover’s probiotics and digestive enzymes instead. Yeast guard has been a life saver!

Those are kind of my staples, and then I rotate other things in and out. I’ll use Reds & Greens, occasionally do their detox, sometimes add Meat Mixer to their food, and switch that on and off with Dr. Harvey’s Paradigm/herbal blends. Also check out Adored Beast, I’ve used a bunch of their products too and really like them.

My girl is 11 and my boys are 8, and there are definitely some things I wish I had started sooner!

One BIG thing, because Frenchies are so prone to back issues and IVDD, I would start teaching him/her not to jump as early as possible!!! not at people when they’re excited, not on/off the couch, not on/off the bed, etc. IVDD is so sad, and even when it’s “just” a flare, seeing them in pain is heartbreaking. Some people don’t allow their dogs on furniture, but that’s not the case in our house 😂 so we have little ramps for the couches and bed instead.

And keep those nails short!! A little trimmy trim always 😂 Long nails can affect how they stand and move, so staying on top of them is important too. We don’t want their bones to hurt ! Learn from my mistakes lol!

We do so much holistically here as much as possible and I really believe it’s added to their little lives ❤️ to long it can hurt their little bones, and honestly they are such a nightmare if you don’t get them used to handling their paws. Happened to me with all three 🤣. Oh they can be sensitive ani animals, I try not to use abrasive cleaners. No bleach on floors. And the detergent I used it hypoallergenic detergent.

lol don’t give in, super important to teach them the less jumping the better! They are prone to back issues (Ivdd) I have two with back issues. I wish I started health supplements and training them to not jump sooner! They also have ramps. Flora is absolutely ADORABULL
