You’re playing among the best in the world. Any advice would probably be things you already know. It’s just a matter of taking your own advice and making the right play or pick , not the play or pick you talk yourself into.

Generally you can boil down a problem to sensors and actuators, and then the Arduino is the logic that decides how those behave. For example if you have a window that needs to open itself automatically when it’s dark to let cool air in. Your sensor would be a light sensor, and your actuator would be a motor. The Arduino is used to read the light sensor data and has an algorithm that actuates the motor to open the window. Maybe additional sensors can determine how much to open that window by, like an air quality sensor. You can always keep adding stuff, but your Arduino is the brains that decides how everything behaves. So, think of any problem, simple or complex, and consider how you can automate it. Meat thermometer that texts you when it’s ready, tripod that self stabilizes by extending its legs, alarm built into your toilet to let you know you’ve been doomscrolling too long… the possibilities are endless!
